Κάτω του μέσου όρου Basic, gritty neighborhood

Κάτω του μέσου όρου It was a good price and the reviews were pretty good but our experience could have been better. The hotel sent us a message the day before with the door codes as we would be arriving after reception closed. However the room door code was incorrect. We had also been told the wrong floor for the room. After 45 mins of trying to call the hotel emergency number I was able to contact Hotels.com who got the manager to call us. He barely listened to me and was quite rude. He did give us the correct code but wouldn’t apologise for their mistake and kept saying it was our fault - as though we had no idea how to put in a door code. I met him in the morning and finally he did listen and check their incorrect message… and basically apologised. We slept fine, the room is simple but comfortable. It’s good value for money but the rudeness of the manager was unnecessary and unfortunate.

Καλό Shower drain was clogged and made the first shower very uncomfortable but they came and fixed it so it was smooth after that but for future reference they should make sure it’s working properly for the next guess to avoid another situation like that.

Very friendly but a bit chaotic. The lobby was filled with boxes the first day and air conditioning units with hoses draped through the room on the second. Two bumper-car like massage chairs cluttered the space and we left our luggage pretty much in the middle of the lobby for a bag check. The location is great, the room was clean but minimal - no blanket. When asked, they said it was a hostel. I sensed it might be new owners trying very hard but not smooth yet. Good location, decent price, but don't expect a full hotel experience.

I really enjoyed the location. It felt like living as a Parisian, right in the middle of everyday city life. The area is vibrant both day and night, with people constantly on the move or simply enjoying themselves, and plenty of small, unique restaurants to explore.
That said, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the ideal spot. The neighborhood has an active nightlife, with open cafes and music well into the evening.
One of the highlights was being just a 10 minute walk from the Sacre Coeur Basilica, which made it easy to visit such an iconic site.
I also appreciated the suite itself. It was comfortable and added to the overall positive experience.

The room was spacious and clean, and had a fantastic location. Check-in and check-out were easy. However, the room lacks some basic amenities: yes, there is no AC, which I knew, but there also aren't any fans whatsoever. We went in June, and Paris was very hot, all day and well into the night, so I did get quite sweaty in bed and needed to keep the windows open(which then leads to bugs, so be careful). A hairdryer was listed as in the room but there was none, and when I mentioned it to the counter they said they'd have someone bring us one but never did. Not a big deal, but the wife could have used it.
