Amazing facilities, will definitely go back soon.

Rooms were clean but small and seemed a bit rundown. Bed seem a bit worn. Breakfast was okay not the best I’ve had, staff were nice enough. Definitely family friendly great for children it’s quite isolated so it’s a lot quieter and harder to get places. Resort was beautiful but rooms definitely were rundown.

Room was great. Spacious and modern with excellent AC. Hotel grounds were well kept and pretty. Breakfast options were plentiful. We only stayed a night due to flight changes but would consider returning.

The hotel is very family friendly. The splash park is great for kids and the swim up rooms are brilliant. The buffet breakfast selection was huge and delicious, so much choice. Would definitely stay here again. Close to shops and restaurants

Most amazing hotel, my little girl loved it. The soft play was her favourite! The kids area in the swimming pool was amazing too! So much to do, we were at the end of our 4 week trip around Thailand and so we just stayed in hotel and enjoyed it for the whole week, never got bored! The food was amazing, and the sunsets at the restaurant by the beach was gorgeous! Only downside is the yoga classes are in a room next to the games room, and so for more than half of the yoga class we had to listen to kids screaming and also looking into the room, so being shy it can be off putting. A hotel we stayed in in koh Samui did their classes in the mornings by the pool outdoors early morning whilst breakfast just began, which is just a thought that maybe the hotel should consider theirs in the giant garden by the lake. My daughter loved feeding the fish! Would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Khao Lak!

From we arrived you could the quality of The Sands, it's beautifully laid out with manicured lawns, water features and a large fish pond. We had a swim up room which was large, clean and very comfortable, the only downside of the room was that the terrace was in the shade for the majority of the day, if you want one of these rooms request one that has sun most of the day. The site is almost split in two with quieter side that had an adult only pool and family pool with bar, then the other side has a mini water park for the kids with a number slides, fun water play and a lazy river. At breakfast there's a great choice catering to all nationalities and tastes, we didn't eat at the hotel at night but speaking to people who had it sounded very good. The staff are fantastic, always polite and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Whether you want a family holiday, with plenty to entertain the kids, or a restful time from work or touring Thailand then The Sands is a great choice

Stort hotell som känns lyxigt. Superfint poolområde speciellt för barnfamiljer är det perfekt med alla åkattraktioner. Supertrevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi trivdes verkligen. Besöker gärna igen. Bra läge också.

The Staff were wonderful, the room (2Adults and 2 Children was spacious) We had a king sized bed and the children had a day bed and roll out trundle bed. The facilities were geeat - my children did not want to get out of the pool and enjoyed the lazy river!!!! Once you know some shortcuts, it cuts the walkinv time down to not much!!!! Food quality was good and I enjoyed my breakfast every morning. Great stay and would do it again!
