DO NOT STAY if you are attending the opera or making a tourist visit to Verona. The website claims that the hotel is 'near' the Arena - 'near' means almost 1.5 km and 25 mins walk, crossing busy traffic roads. In the summer heat this is a challenge. There is NO local transport, so you taxi everywhere. This a classic big box characterless conference/group hotel - it is worthwhile to spend extra for a better location. Poor breakfast, Poor overall value.

This hotel is a real gem! It’s an older hotel but it’s very well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The staff is friendly and welcoming and their breakfast is out of this world! I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again if I’m ever back in Verona.

The rooms were very clean. I ended there would have been a microwave available yo heat our food up. Otherwise, everything was great. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Buffet was amazing, rooms were surprisingly very nice. Most importantly the AC worked incredibly! Highly recommend, only a 15 minute walk to the city center and 10 minute walk to the train station it had it all!

Great location . Service level in the bar was very weak . They need to be better trained in customer service . You had to go to the bar and ring a bell ? They walked right by guest without offering service . The restaurant servers were good.

Hotel con aspecto bastante antiguo, solo pude encontrar 1 enchufe y estaba al lado de la puerta del cuarto en el suelo. El aire no enfriaba y la bañera se inundaba, sin hablar del recibimiento estricto en recepción, sobre el check in extremadamente puntual a las 2pm ni un solo minuto antes sin importar si la habitación ya esta disponible.

Hotel is located on the outskirts of Verona and takes approx. 15 mins walk to the centre & approx. 10 mins to the station (which was a positive). Property is tired and requires a large investment for renovation. Hotel is classified as a 4 star but is more like a 3 star, rooms do not have an iron or ironing board, every day I had to request milk/cream for tea in my bedroom. A kettle was provided but the plug did not fit in the socket. European adaptors did not fit in many of the sockets. One particular day the rain was awful and when I returned to the hotel I asked if my trousers could be dried and was told "no". I questioned if they had a laundry service and was told that they were unable to launder my trousers, again, for a 4 star hotel I would expect this service to be available. TV in the room was not working and had to request maintenance to visit. Fridge in the room did not work and tap in the bathroom needed maintenance as each time you turned it on, it made an horrendous noise. Overall an 'OK' hotel but would not stay again if I was in Verona.
