Barefoot Kuata exceeded expectations. the food was wonderful, the facilities were amazing, and the staff was excellent! We did not want to leave the resort.

We loved it here.we did 3 nights.all of the staff.are lovely.big thanks to wendy..so smiley and happy, food amazing , diving awesome !!! Only thing could suggest is a eashing line at huts to dry wet beach ware Thanks guys

Have to say I was disappointed. This is a beautiful island and it’s well groomed but food was terrible with no other options other their buffet. Traveled with my kid and she hardly ate for a week. Coffee was really bad also. I think for the price you pay here you should definitely get better service and quality. I’ve been to other places on the same price range and I was much better. Also pool was very lame and from the pictures it looks like real nice but it’s tiny more like a soaking bath. It’s not a bad place because it’s very beautiful but there is a lot of room for improvement and it’s really hard to stay in a place with bad food with no other options

Warm welcome by the staff. Well-organized orientation for all new guests to clarify the unique aspects of the resort. My waterfront bure was an absolute dream: spacious and lovely. Plus, getting to stretch out on its personalized loungers at the water's edge was sublime. Dive center was friendly and supportive with a wonderfully educational marine biology emphasis. Reef and coral right out front were spectacular. All resort staff members were so friendly and easy-going. I would absolutely return, in a heartbeat.

Fantastic snorkeling, relaxing beachfront bure, friendly staff. Only issue was people vaping/smoking and needing to move away from them.

I really wish I could rate this higher, because it is a cool place.The island itself is beautiful, and the people are very kind and welcoming. The scuba diving was really great, and the bull shark dive was mind-blowing. I actually liked my beachfront bure, but the bathroom flooded every time it rained. But it was right on the beach and very comfortable. There are some cool hikes around the island that you should definitely try, and do the cultural cave tour. Really the only bad things were that the food was pretty questionable and kept me a little bit sick the whole time. Maybe it was the water. Maybe it was something else, I don’t know. Felt like the food. It really just wasn’t very appetizing either. The restaurant itself is really cool and the live meal music is great. Wi-Fi was solid in the main part of the resort, but didn’t work in the room, which I was expecting. They really need to install some path lights on the far end of the resort, because it’s really dark at night. Made it through fine with my phone light. Overall, it was a good experience. I wouldn’t go back, but I don’t really regret it either.

Guests must transfer via airplane or boat to the property. Guests must contact the property at least 72 hours before travel, using the contact information on the confirmation received after booking. The front desk is open daily from 7 AM - 6 PM. This property doesn't offer after-hours check-in. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Information provided by the property may be translated using automated translation tools. This property is accessible via a 2-hour public ferry (surcharge) from Port Denarau Marina on Denarau Island, Fiji, or via a 30-minute seaplane transfer (surcharge) from Nadi International Airport (NAN) to the resort. Fees are paid directly to the ferry or seaplane operators; the property can assist with arranging transfers. Ferry schedule: Departs from Port Denarau Marina at 8:45 AM and arrives at the property at 10:45 AM; departs from the property at 4 PM and arrives at Port Denarau Marina at 6 PM. Schedule subject to change without notice.
