We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. I checked the reviews before booking and expected a true 5-star experience. The reviews mentioned comfortable beds, which was especially important since we were trying to recover from jet lag. Unfortunately, the bed was one of the worst we’ve ever slept on. It honestly felt like sleeping directly on a box spring instead of a mattress. I could feel every piece of wood underneath, and we woke up every morning with sore backs and almost no sleep.
To their credit, the staff did try to help by adding extra mattress toppers, but they were very thin and made little difference. Thankfully, this was only the beginning of our trip, and we had other hotels ahead to look forward to.
Another disappointment was the lack of complimentary water or even basic snacks. Expect to pay for absolutely everything — even the smallest items.
