Our tent was spacious, very clean and aircon was working properly. The grounds are impeccably kept and the natural pool + views are wonderful. Dinner is varied and delicious (only eastern options available) while breakfast is simpler, with variation only in eastern options. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. However, note that the markup on experiences and car transfers is significant.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The whole place is beautiful and we had a great time relaxing and exploring. The team is really friendly and helpful, the tents are immaculate and the food is good. There is so much local history and lots of places to visit from the hotel itself. If you have any reservations about booking, just do it! I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Hintok.

Everything about this River Camp was fantastic. We especially loved their multi-course dinner that was served to our table and their great buffet breakfast. A great place to stay if you are visiting Kanchanaburi!

Brother and sister trip. So much better than we expected. Wish we stayed longer. Pool was great. Plenty of activities. Breakfast and dinner included and was good variety. Bed comfy. Only issue was the toilet not flushing came to fix but still not working. Staff were attentive. Aircon was a plus. Would return.

Our stay at Hintok River Camp was amazing and mostly positive, it was a great glamping experience at a historically meaningful site. Pros: - Very clean rooms and toilets - Natural pool was clean and refreshing - Food is generally great and portion is generous - Kiosk and minimarts nearby to buy snacks / toiletries etc if needed - Wide selection of excursion trips and boat rentals (The hellfire pass excursion is highly recommended, only costs 600 baht per person; also went for boat trip to sai yok yai waterfall, though a little pricey at 2200 baht per 2 persons, it was a nice free-and-easy trip with decent photo opportunities) - Free museum about the historical background of the location - Polite and helpful staff members Cons: - Lots of insects (inevitable with glamping in the nature - can purchase insect repellant from the kiosk) - Food served during dinner could be slightly on the cold side (soups / gravy ones are usually still warm) - Possible language barrier with some staff members (just needs a little patience or Google translate)

Be careful not to drink the water at breakfast or dinner I got violently ill for days Food was good though and unique location where the real POWs lived and died

On the river with excursions such as bamboo rafting available. Tents are a good size with ac and a bathroom. Deluxe sleep 3. BBQ dinner included and they will do vegetarian option.
