Great stay, incredible service and handy location.

Great value for money! I really enjoyed my time here as a solo traveller wanting to be close to the beach by foot. A perfect smaller style resort with lovely staff. The included breakfast is a really strong highlight, the à la carte menu which includes local and western options has no limit to what you can have made including coffee and fresh juices etc. The bathroom facilities are OK, and could do with an upgrade but certainly did not impact my stay. Around the pool and some other rooms were under maintenance/refurb so it’s great to know that the owners are actively investing in the property. I prefer walking as much as possible so if you’re after a gym facility, The Hive is less than a 10-min walk. The area the hotel is located in is relatively “quiet” compared to the main hustle and bustle of Seminyak and Canggu, it’s perfectly positioned between the two main areas, down a short/safe laneway, which is great so that you don’t hear any busy street traffic. To get around it costs approx 1,500 rupiah on a scooter but I’d suggest making the trek along the beach to get down to main town Seminyak in the morning or afternoon for a sunset walk. The only real downsides were the paper thin walls, I could hear my neighbours conversations & bathroom habits. Better soundproofing is definitely required. I’ve re-booked for later in the year but in a bungalow to avoid this issue again as it’s incredibly sleep disruptive. Also the bar fridge in the room does not get cold at all!

Breakfast was excellent. Nice pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach. Quiet and relaxing environment to come back to at the end of the day. Would recommend to anyone. We had a great 3 night stay.

I was in three rooms in four day and left two days early because I had had enough. The first room was so humid that the floor was slippery and the walls were wet. Their solution was to put the AC down to 17C and wait 24 hours. The toilet wouldn’t flush in the next room. The third room was so noisy with the Chinese women above us making noise and moving furniture around. There was a metal fabrication shop in the parking lot that was grinding and banging on metal. They fogged the grounds for mosquitoes. Food only knows what chemicals they used. Dated.

Very friendly staff and delicious food, the breakfast was always great. Very inviting pool and the bungalows were very relaxing. The toilet did leak a little bit one day and didn’t always flush first go. Great restaurant at the end of the driveway and plenty of convenient stores nearby. Not very walkable to Canggu or the rest of Seminyak but very easy to get transport. Highly recommend if you just want to relax by the pool

There was a swarm of red ants in our room. The breakfast was tasty but the forks were rusty . Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

The room was fine. A bit worn for wear. It was substantially clean and the cleaners did a good job. The staff stood out as very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The location is good, relatively clise to the beach and there are plenty of eateries in the proximity.

The hotel was old and there was construction on the main pool, which we were not aware of earlier. The area was great and the restaurant was good.
