The hotel is clean and the staff if nice. Breakfast is very good, but the property is very old and not well maintained. This is my 2nd time in Reykjavik and the hotel I stayed in last time had the same issue, the pictures are very deceiving, the hotel doesn't look as nice as the pictures on the website. Also, the room was very noisy, you could hear other people next door and the top floor as well as cars very early in the morning.

Overall, the hotel and rooms are in good condition. The rooms are small and hot. I had to open the window and request a fan after insuring the radiator was off. The street noise was loud after the window was opened. The staff seemed reluctantly helpful with questions. I have stayed at this hotel once before. I knew the room would be small, but I mainly chose it for the location, which was excellent for my needs. It's also nice that there is a bus stop right outside. Is someone from the hotel is reading this review, please clean the hole used to open to door to the shower and toilet. There was dried blood in the hole from a previous guest.

The hotel was located on a shopping street. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have enough space to move around. The bathrooms are nice and modern.

Hotel is in a great location with many shops and restaurants right outside the door. Very clean and comfy room. Breakfast was basic but a good deal if you get it included. Not sure it’s worth the full price but many things are very expensive in Reykjavík. Do not miss the incredible cinnamon rolls at the Braud & Co. bakery three blocks away. The hotel staff were great. Will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Reykjavik.
