The shared room was quite dirty even with daily housekeeping. I scrubbed down the shower at one point because I couldn’t stand it anymore. Seems like it had been the first time in a while. Lots of mold in the bathroom. Cockroaches and ants, as well. The customer service was one of the worst I’ve experienced, personally. It seemed at least one of the front desk workers did not want to be there at all. Often on her phone, even after trying to smile and say “aloha”. Almost all of my requests were met with push back. Trying to get a towel (even though I was not provided one) proved to be quite challenging, as well. There was a pool, which was not often busy and the location was good, but thats about all the positive I can give it. I actually had to check in somewhere else due to discomfort after about 5 days.

This hostel felt safe and was clean, two big ones for me. I arrived after hours and check-in was relatively smooth. I shared a room with six women. Everyone was very respectful and friendly and quiet. Rooms and bathroom were clean and organized. Location is fantastic, just 2 to 3 blocks from the beach. Support staff at the front desk (servicing a different aspect of this facility?) refer you to a phone number with any issues which is a little awkward. But this place is obviously highly organized and seems to run like a well oiled machine. Excellent housekeeping. I highly recommend.

Location was close to everything in Waikiki, 3 minute walk to the beach. Most tour shuttle pick ups are 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. Very safe and close to everything.

Κάτω του μέσου όρου The only thing I like is close to where we had an event to attend but I booked deluxe 2 beds but they give me 1 bed and a sofa and I talked to the receptionist and she said that it's fully booked and that's the only available and she also said that Expedia keep selling/booking without their control so I dont have a choice. And also the room is rushed to clean and sell because when I check in the front desk/receptionist what ever they consider but to me is inconsiderate due to no customer service experience. The other main issue is the trash is not emptied, I can provide picture evidence that the last guest name is still in the luggage tags. The day before we check out was Im about to grab some complimentary coffee and try to pump that thermos and the receptionist told me in a high pitch "it's not ready yet, im still making" and it sound ls mad and I answered " Are you mad" and she answered " no im not mad" then I walk away. If you like me to provide a proof of pictures of the said trash inside the room, let me know and I will send it. you

Κάτω του μέσου όρου I was supposed to be in a women’s only hostel, and ended up with 5 other adult men, they were all cool but tried to change with the hotel, no response. Do not recommend.
