Dwell - Elegant City Stay

This hotel is in a busy area and the reception is quite small. They have a tiny bar in the reception area where they serve coffee and drinks throughout the day at the tables outside. Although the entrance area was small, our room was really very spacious. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well despite a rumbling of noise from the lively area round us. Good air conditioner! The shower was excellent and the bathroom was roomy. We had everything we needed in our room. The breakfast, which we had included, was excellent...a good start to the day. It was served at the tables outside or, I think, you could request it be delivered to your room. The area Dwell is situated in is a busy shopping area, but nothing that we wanted to visit in our short stay was very far to walk to. The hotel is not staffed overnight but we didn't find that a problem. The staff at reception were great...very friendly and helpful. They organised our transfer from the ferry port to the hotel, and later our transfer to the airport in the early hours. Everything went very smoothly. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Dwell.

Pristine and cozy room in a tranquil and peaceful oasis in the center of Athens within walking distance of all major sites and attractions. Delicious breakfasts and personalized attention made this hotel feel like a luxury experience within a small boutique footprint.

Great place to stay in walking distance from everything - tons of restaurants and shopping, the Acropolis, museums. Loved it!

Fabulous!! Our room was a suite with a balcony looking over the pedestrian street. Everything we wanted to do was walkable.

Overall, a good hotel – friendly staff, great location, and tasty food. However, we experienced several issues. First, despite prior confirmation of a room with three separate beds, we were given a double bed and a small, uncomfortable rollaway bed instead. From our first day, we also had a persistent ant problem throughout the room, which the staff couldn’t resolve. Due to full occupancy, we couldn’t be moved to another room. Despite the inconvenience, there was no gesture of compensation or effort to make up for the discomfort. In summary, a disappointing experience.

Great stay.

The AC didn’t work in the room and it was so hot and stuffy all night. Due to the reception not being manned, there was nothing we could do. Even though we complained about it earlier, we were told to just wait but it never started working. The hotel couldn’t compensate for it not working, just offered us wine the next day but it was a total ordeal. Looking at reviews it seems to be quite a known thing that their ACs don’t work. Suggest they fix it properly and stop gaslighting their guests.

This boutique hotel is at a perfect location, within one block to the famous Ermou street and just a few minutes of walking to the Syntagma Square. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Having breakfast at the street is a wonderful experience.
