Entry/exit after hours is challenging since it's not 24/7 front desk monitored.

Κάτω του μέσου όρου The host was nice and location was good but the room was so so small and hot with slanted floors.

The good: Excellent owner/reception, so sweet and kind. Fantastic, soft large towels and probably the cleanest sheets and bed in France (I've seen a few).
The Bad: The only thing I can say is that it's an older French building, as such the floors are out of level but nothing dangerous
Overall, my best stay in Marseille. you can't beat the location/price (value) combo.

Υπέροχα The hotel is very near the bustling center of old port. Vieux Port. Lots of reataurant and shopping options. Transportation is close by easily used and reasonably priced. The hotel is owned by a very nice lady and her son and daughter help out. The staff is attentive, helpful and very friendly.

The location is fantastic, can’t be beaten. The room was basic but comfortable, with very nice bedding and towels. Most of all, the hostess and host were charming and helpful.

Καλό Very close to The Old Port, with many restaurants and patios. Thursday night the locals dancing in the opera yard out front was nice (ending at 23:15 hrs). The next nights there was loud commotion most of the night…not so nice.
Also, climbing 53 steps on the spiral staircase with our large suitcases was not ideal.

Καλό The owners are great and welcoming people, that made the stay so much nicer. The hotel is standard for what you expect in this tier.

Stay was okay but not what I expected. Room was small, very basic, noisy, and a bit run down. Advertised as a hotel but actually a guesthouse, which felt misleading. Surrounding area was lovely and the host was great, but overall I expected better.
