I planned the summer trip of a lifetime for myself and daughter, but it turned out to be anything but. The room we were in was covered in mold and the mold was located right by the AC. Therefore blowing mold spores all over the room. They eventually moved us to another room, no mold but wet floor due to shampooing.
That’s not all, no hot water after 5pm in either room. Front desk said, it’s a known issue in the building and nothing can be done about it. 3-days without a hot shower.
Hotel staff only cared about the concerns when I emailed Hyatt and sent photos of the moldy wall. They ended up reimbursing us for our stay and we left a day early.
I’m writing the review because I don’t want anyone else to go through something like this. The view was nice, but that’s about all. No microwaves in rooms, no hot water, no room service, limited amenities for such a large hotel. Spend a little more and stay somewhere that will truly make a great experience.
