Φανταστικό We loved staying at Mont d’Or - it was a beautiful property. The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. Carol the Manager was lovely and so helpful. It was only a 3 minute walk to the main street. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. We love the French feel in this town. Great wineries and the Wine Train was fun.

Loved this place. Really charactful and full of charm. Excellent hosts. Very good sized bedroom with great en-suite. Excellent breakfast. Cold buffet and cooked. Reasonable sitting out area with pool. Situated only a me block back from Main Street and restaurants. Highly recommend. We’ll be back if in Franschhoek in the future.

Expedia's team needs to be more vigilant on trusting hotel pictures and postingthem on your website/app. The photos used to describe each room's bathroom at Mont d'Or was exactly the same and having stayed there, that's not the case at all. Our bathroom was worse than a cheap motel and I have pictures to back it up.

Great location just a few minutes stroll to Franschhoek cafes and restaurants. Warm and friendly welcome from Carol and Johannes and the other staff.
The room was comfortable but would benefit from a spruce up as looked a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. Also there was a very strange smell coming from the bathroom but this could well have been from drains.
