The location is great, and staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. However the rooms are pretty simple, almost like a dorm room, and the bathrooms need some upgrades. Its just a place to rest your head. If you want a hotel room to relax in after a long day, this is not it.

Excellent location to the best attractions and train station.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful in every instance. Rooms were clean, breakfast was very good and the location was convenient for catching local buses.

Room had no luggage rack, had to beg for one. Only had one tether uncomfortable chair for 2 adults

The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked well! We didn't love that the beds were not very comfortable and the shower was really had to get in and out of.

This was the best bed I had in Switzerland or Italy. Another plus was the lovely, friendly front desk staff who let us check in an hour early and offered to upgrade our room on what seemed to be just an expansive mood. The AC was also good in the current heat wave and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Makes me think I should try more Ibis Style hotels.

Nice staff Great area

The location and cleanliness of the place was great, and check in was good. However I felt the room pretty basic and almost felt like it was in a cupboard. It was a dark room and the best was right as you opened the door which felt a bit funny when travelling as a solo female. Don't know if it could be layed out another way. This was my most expensive hotel in Switzerland and wasn't the best compared to the price I paid for the 2 nights.

Totally not worth what we paid for this hotel! 5 star price for a 2 star hotel! When we walked into our room it smelled odd. We assumed it was the carpet since it had many stains and didn’t look like it had been washed in a while. Then the bathroom smelled bad like drainage. Probably an old building with bad plumbing. We couldn’t tell if the sink was dirty or just old, but didn’t look clean. The room was pretty small. The pros is that the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. The breakfast was good and had variety of hot/cold items. The hotel was walking distance to the old town. We visited several other towns/cities through Switzerland and this was the most expensive and overrated town out of all of them. We would skip it next time.
