It was my first experience with klook and I couldn't be happier. Even if it was rainy the whole day, we could enjoy the itinerary as described thanks to Effy. She was amazing, she explained everything and was always ready to answer other questions and doubts. I would totally recommend 🌱

Ήταν η πρώτη μου φορά που συμμετείχα σε μονοήμερη εκδρομή της KLOOK και από την αρχή εντυπωσιάστηκα από τον επαγγελματισμό του ξεναγού Liu Du. Έκανε την ξενάγηση εναλλάσσοντας τρεις γλώσσες: Κινεζικά, Αγγλικά και Ιαπωνικά (μιλούσε με ευγένεια και κομψότητα, με μια αυθεντική τοπική αύρα). Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδρομής, έδειξε μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον και φροντίδα για τα μέλη της ομάδας, εξηγώντας τα πάντα με μεγάλη λεπτομέρεια. Ήταν πολύ σαφής σχετικά με τις στάσεις επιβίβασης/αποβίβασης και τη διαχείριση του χρόνου. Στο παρατηρητήριο της λίμνης Biwa, μας πρότεινε να πάρουμε το δεύτερο τμήμα του τελεφερίκ μέχρι την κορυφή για να απολαύσουμε την πανοραμική θέα 360 μοιρών, καθώς και να δοκιμάσουμε μπριζόλα Omi, κ.λπ. Όλα αυτά μας άφησαν πολύ όμορφες αναμνήσεις από το Κιότο. Ευχαριστούμε τον Liu Du, ευχαριστούμε την KLOOK για αυτή την υπέροχη εκδρομή. Ανυπομονώ για την επόμενη φορά που θα συναντηθούμε!

Wonderful day trip to the Miho Museum Our bus trip to the Miho Museum was one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. Kangfu was both our driver and our guide, and he did a great job at both. He drove safely and comfortably, and he made the day easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The itinerary was perfect: not too long, not too short. We had enough time to enjoy the museum without feeling rushed, and we were back without being worn out. Thank you, Kangfu, for a memorable day. We'd happily recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kyoto.

The day before the one-day tour, we received an email from our tour guide, Sun Jiaxue (Yuki), detailing the itinerary, important notes, meeting point, and contact information. Since there were about 20 people in our group, we traveled by large bus. At the start of the one-day tour and just before reaching our destination, our guide Yuki provided detailed explanations and important information. She also used Line to send reminders about the itinerary and pickup locations. Itinerary Stop 1: Miho Museum - I.M. Pei's Utopia. Anyone studying architecture must experience the master's architectural design and its integration with the environment. Lunch was at our own expense; the rice balls and Miho tofu at the ticket center's restaurant are worth trying. (Photos 1-3) Itinerary Stop 2: Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine on Mount Hiei - This is the head shrine for over 3,800 Hie, Hiyoshi, and Sanno shrines across Japan, known for monkeys serving as messengers of the gods. (Photo 4) Itinerary Stop 3: Shirahige Shrine and Water Torii Gate on Lake Biwa - A legendary spot said to be closest to the gods. (Photos 5-6) Many thanks to our tour guide Yuki and the driver for their excellent service on today's one-day tour. Our family of four had a truly enriching experience.

This tour does not include the Biwako Valley ropeway tickets, but you can buy them on Klook, which is cheaper than buying them on-site. If you choose to board at Kyoto Station and get off at Osaka Station, your luggage can be stored on the tour bus. Look for staff wearing yellow vests with "gogoday" to check in. Tour guide Zhang Yanjin was extremely nice 👍 He drove smoothly, provided just the right amount of information, and kindly answered all our questions. I felt the time allocated for each stop was well planned. Also, thank you to all the fellow travelers who joined today—even though there were only 8 of us, everyone was quite punctual! ✅ I recommend renting an audio guide at Miho Museum ✅ (The last photo of Shirahige Shrine was edited because of bad weather 🤣)

Our tour guide was Ms. Effy Ya-fei, who speaks Mandarin, English, and Japanese. She was very patient with our questions, and her communication was clear and well-organized. She thoughtfully sent an email before departure with her contact information, and on the day of the tour, she kept us updated via a messaging app group. Before arriving at each attraction, she would give us helpful tips on what to look out for. We were all very satisfied with the arrangements 👍🏻

Today, due to the holiday, there were heavy crowds and severe traffic congestion. Fortunately, the weather was clear and the scenic beauty far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Yafei, gave us detailed introductions on the bus in advance regarding the cultural history, local cuisine, and great photo spots for each attraction, which was extremely helpful. Despite the heavy traffic, the guide continuously communicated with the driver to estimate our arrival time and constantly kept us updated on the estimated arrival times and duration of our visits, allowing us to adjust our expectations accordingly. She was very dedicated and responsible. As for the scenery, Lake Biwa is truly stunning with its sparkling waters. Exploring, checking in, and taking photos on the mountain yielded amazing pictures. We experienced both the cable car and the Sky Bridge; the scenery on the mountain was pleasant and expansive, and we had a wonderful time. The only thing to note is that it is windy at the top of the mountain, so it is best to wear a windbreaker and long pants to avoid getting cold. Due to the traffic jams, we only had half an hour to explore and shop at our last stop, La Collina Omihachiman. The tour guide efficiently led us quickly to the cake factory at the very back, allowing us to catch the core scenery just before sunset. The experience was still quite good overall. Generally speaking, thanks to the clear weather and comfortable temperatures, this trip greatly exceeded expectations. The only minor drawback was the traffic, which compressed the time available at each attraction, making it feel a bit like a rushed "special forces" style tour, and the return trip was a bit late. However, overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable time. Special thanks to our dedicated tour guide Yafei, and to the experienced and smooth driver who warmly greeted each of us when getting on and off the bus and helped us with our luggage!
