Η Γιουμίκο-σαν είναι η καλύτερη ξεναγός που έχουμε γνωρίσει ποτέ στην Ιαπωνία. Είναι απίστευτα εξυπηρετική και κάνει το κάτι παραπάνω για να καλύψει όλες τις ανάγκες και τα αιτήματά μας. Μας πήγε σε κρυμμένα διαμάντια στην Καμακούρα – μη τουριστικά μέρη που ήταν απολύτως μαγευτικά. Πραγματικά καταπληκτική!

We had an amazing walking tour in Kamakura with our guide, Yumiko. She was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and full of energy. She took us to several beautiful spots, including a couple of shrines, a peaceful bamboo garden, and the iconic Great Buddha. We walked around for a few hours, and every moment was delightful. Yumiko shared fascinating details and stories about each location—things we never would’ve discovered on our own. Her insights really brought the history and culture of Kamakura to life. Spending time with her was truly the highlight of our trip, and we’ll definitely book another tour with her the next time we’re in Japan.

I recommend Yomiko highly 100%, her guide is fun and knowledgeable. we had a great day with her, she take us to a lot of beautiful places and share with us the story of the place, her recommendation for the place to visit and restaurant to eat is perfect.she go out of her way to help us. her communicate with us in timely manner, she waited for us in our breakfast restaurant to get rid of our trouble to find the meeting place. i accidentally lost some cash, she helped us call police station and the convenieet store , luckily , she find out it is returned to police station ( Japanese people are so great!) She accompanied us to police station and help me fill in the form to get the money back. I am so moved by her compassion!

We spent our day with Yumiko who was the best guide anyone can ask for. Our itinerary was completely customized and the meet-up was a breeze. Yumiko took us to all the places we wanted to visit in Kamakura and taught us so much about the rich history and culture. She was extremely kind and thoughtful and also helped us with finding a great lunch spot too! While the tour was only half day she wanted to make sure we saw everything on our list and stayed with us much longer. There is no way we could’ve accomplished all we did without her help.

Yumiko-san was an incredible guide! The communication was wonderful, we were in touch a few days beforehand to solidify the itinerary and decide where to visit. Her local knowledge was invalauable, she was able to recommend we don't see a local spot because the flowers had already died for the season. It was incredible to visit the shrines and temples and have someone explain the local history to us, rather than just google-translating everything. Yumiko-san was friendly and knowledgeable, I can't recommend this tour enough! it was the highlight of the trip.

Our tour guide Yumiko-san from 888tour is very nice and thoughtful. She has provided different options and advices for us to make sure our tour is going to be smooth. We have better understand the culture of Kamakura thanks to Yumiko-san’s detailed introduction. She helped us to take photos and introduced lots of stories of Kamakura to us. I definitely recommend this tour;)

Yumiko was very enthusiastic, very knowledgeable about the intricate details of thr city and eager to please. It was a delight to be guided by her throughout and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone visiting Kamakura for the first time.

Yumiko was fantastic from the start. She messaged us as soon as we booked the tour and, on the day of the tour, moved up the meeting time so we wouldn't have to wait too long. She took us on a tour of Kamakura with great professionalism and care, always friendly and attentive to our questions and needs. She introduced us to Buddhism and Shintoism with great knowledge, explaining the meaning of the gestures that accompany the most common prayers of both religions. She even gave us additional recommendations for other places in the city after the tour. The tour with Yumiko was fantastic, I highly recommend it!

This tour was the highlight of the trip for my husband and me. Our tour guide, Yumiko, was wonderful. She is so knowledgeable and personable. She took us to some not-so-touristy places, which was perfect for us. We don't care for crowds or feel the need to see the most photographed areas anywhere. We learned so much about the history and culture by going to more untraveled areas. Our guide also brought us little delicious snacks. I cannot say enough about how great the experience was. I recommend that you book it and find out. You won't be disappointed.

Our guide, Yumiko, was a local to Kamakura which meant lots of hidden places we’d never have seen and visited without her. Very good English, excellent communication including an email two weeks before our tour to ensure we got the very best tour. Local knowledge is key, take the opportunity to book a half day private tour, you won’t be disappointed 😁
