Arrived the area at 9.47am and there was no one around so I was quite stressed about not getting the correct pick up location. It would be good if the email could include a picture of the pick up point. Other than that, best tour I had so far. Ride on the train was okay. Good to experience as a first time tourist in Australia, especially since our country does not have operating steam trains. Wish we had more time at the gift shop at Puffing Billy. It started raining on our way to Philip Island. It was very very cold so my mom and I left the viewing area very quickly after spotting some penguins. Video and photography is not allowed. Neither are umbrellas or standing up. They are quite strict on that so that we do not startle the penguins in their habitat. Our guide Simon was the best. Kept us all entertained and interacted with us, making sure everyone was alright.

Martin is the best tour guide ever! He is incredibly friendly, humble, and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and paid attention to every detail, making the whole experience enjoyable and easy to understand. Thank you, Martin, for making this tour so memorable. Every place we visited had its own story, and your passion made it even more special. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne!

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our guide and driver, Mr. Simon, for his exceptional care and attentiveness throughout the tour. As we were travelling with our elderly parents, we especially appreciated that he thoughtfully checked in with us from time to time to see if we needed a toilet break during the journey. His kindness and consideration made the trip much more comfortable for our family. We were also delighted that we drive past the iconic Formula 1 track before heading to Phillip Island. It was a wonderful bonus that added to the overall experience. The café stop before we crossed the bridge was perfectly timed and much appreciated—it certainly saved us from our growling stomachs! We truly admire Mr. Simon’s dedication and hard work as managing both the driving and guiding responsibilities on such a long itinerary is no easy task, yet he remained professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. We especially appreciated his recommendation to try the fish and chips at the Phillip Island Penguin Centre—it was delicious! Lorraine was such a lovely and friendly guide, explaining and sharing a lot about melbourne, the dandenong ranges, puffing billy history and facts about the wildlife in phillip island. We really enjoyed our day, it's an experience you should not miss when visiting melbourne.

Πρότεινε επιλογές φαγητού διαθέσιμες κατά τη διάρκεια των στάσεων, κάτι που θεώρησα ότι ο χρόνος που δόθηκε για να απολαύσουμε κάθε εμπειρία της ημερήσιας εκδρομής ήταν φανταστικός. Ήμουν λίγο απογοητευμένος που δεν κατάφερα να δω μια μεγαλύτερη ομάδα από τους μπλε πιγκουίνους να βγαίνουν από τη θάλασσα, αλλά κατά μήκος του μονοπατιού, είδα πολλές φορές τα μικρά χαριτωμένα πλασματάκια.

Didn't expect Puffing Billing rides was an 1 hour ride and sit till backside pain but lucky can sit back to relax instead of hanging legs outside. Good experience but the view are mostly forest. Very friendly peoples who will have when passby. Penguins Island was a little dissapointed cos the penguins did not come in mass and only a few here and there. But highlight was the sky which can see lots of stars!! Note: Didn't have lunch and quick dinner at Penguins Island restaurant. Lastly Thanks to the Tour Guide whom is thoughtful and share us some jokes to keep us laughing.

This Puffing Billy and Phillip Island Penguin Parade 1 Day tour was absolutely worth it from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and packed with unforgettable moments. Riding the historic Puffing Billy Railway through the lush forests felt magical, and the views along the way were just stunning. The highlight of the day was definitely the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Watching the little penguins waddle ashore at sunset was such a unique and heartwarming experience — something you really have to see in person. A special shoutout to our guide, Simon, who truly made the trip exceptional. He was funny, friendly, and kept everything running perfectly on time while making the journey fun and engaging. You can tell he’s really good at what he does and genuinely cares about the group’s experience. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria — it’s a full day of memories you won’t forget.

Terry delivered a solid tour on 2 Dec 2025. He knew his country well, stayed patient and kept the mood light. The Puffing Billy train ride was the highlight. I spotted an echidna, several kookaburras and many brown bunnies. He also brought us to scenic places that showed the region clearly. Dinner was fresh fish and chips at one of his favourite spots. The Penguin Parade gave a close view of the penguins returning to shore and it felt special to watch. I left with good memories and would recommend this tour for a smooth and enjoyable day.

Thank you, Matt for being our wonderful guide. Puffing Billy ride was very enjoyable with beautiful views along the way. Seating on the train railings was a great experience. Matt also a very safe driver and slowed down the vehicle a few times for us to see and take a photo of the wild animals closer. His recommendation of golden fry fish and chips and also dimsim is delicious. The Penguins is very cute and adorable, seeing them out from the water and walking was a unique experince.
