Εκδρομή με καγιάκ στο νησί Whenuakura (Νησί Ντόνατ) από το Χάμιλτον

What a great experience! We arrived a bit early and the hosts greeted us warmly at the little pop up tent next to the beach. They were happy to share their sunscreen with me as well as I'd misread the info and thought it had said sunscreen was included so I didn't bring my own. We were given life vests and dry bags and then they walked the whole group (maybe 14 of us total - 2 per kayak) just a few steps down the beach to the kayaks. We but a quick instruction on how to paddle and steer and off we went. The guides were very friendly and gentle but knowledgeable. We got to take the long way around the island before going into the island which was at very low tide but was still gorgeous. Our guide offered to take our photo for us and took several photos at different angles. After that, we left the "hole" of the donut and headed over to the next island over for tea. The guys were friendly and social and relaxed. All in all a great experience and we'd recommend it to anyone up for the exertion.
