Περιήγηση μισής ημέρας στο Κράτον και στο Ταμάν Σάρι

Πολύ φιλική ξεναγός και πολύ οργανωμένη. Μας έστειλε μήνυμα 2 ημέρες νωρίτερα σχετικά με τον ενδυματολογικό κώδικα και έδωσε σαφείς οδηγίες για το σημείο συνάντησης. Έφτασε νωρίτερα από την συμφωνημένη ώρα και εξήγησε όλες τις λεπτομέρειες του κτιρίου. Πολύ καλή.

An educational informative tour led by 2 young ladies, mainly Diva. Was disappointed there was no gamelan performance but not tour’s fault. Do check online at Kraton instagram/ website) before booking as it changes sometimes. A lot of walking so recommend a trishaw between Kraton & Taman Sari if you have elderly person with you. Also very warm outside although there’s air conditioning in some of the buildings in Kraton. If you want good IG worthy photos, best to do Taman Sari early in morning to avoid the crowds.

I had an amazing experience on the Kraton and Taman Sari Half Day Tour booked through Klook! Our tour guide, Diva, was truly a highlight of the day. She's a young and energetic guide from Jakarta, full of passion for Javanese history and culture. Diva was incredibly patient, always willing to answer questions and explain the historical and cultural background in fluent, easy-to-understand English. She even prepared bottled water for us, helped take great photos, and knew all the best spots for the perfect shots. Her rich cultural knowledge made the tour so much more meaningful, and her enthusiasm was contagious. I genuinely felt well taken care of throughout the experience. Highly recommend booking this tour with a Klook guide – it’s worth every penny!

Had the best time with Cici, not only did we have fun seeing the Kraton and taman sari but Cici also guided us around town where we discovered wingko and helped barter for us at the market. We had a great time and conversation 😊

The tour started at 9am and ended about 10.38am for both Kraton and Taman Sari spots. Kraton is compact and we were shown two exhibit area - Life Stages Room and Patehan Room. Other sites are walk-through as this is a living palace with restricted areas. After Kraton, we took a short walk to Taman Sari and explored the main bath area and the supposedly old ruins. Wished that there were more descriptions onsite to shed some lights what had happened in the past and its significance. Both attractions can be visited if you have spare time after visiting the key sites in Yogyakarta eg. Borobudur and Prambanan, eg slot into pockets in the schedule and engaged an in-house guide to show you around.

Our tour guide Gaudiya did an excellent job with the tour. She possesses a wealth of knowledge. It was amazing how much she knew about the history and culture of the artifacts, music, building, and exhibits. We were able to watch and listen to a performance as well where Gaudiya explained thoroughly about the instruments and significance of the different dances. Gaudiya even took us to a special restaurant that serves special food only served on the kranton's ground. What a nice additional treat. Overall, it was a great tour and well worth the price. Hope you can enjoy as well.

Harits was our guide for the tour. He gave clear explanations of the history and we had a great time chatting after the tour too. Highly recommended place place to visit to understand to history of Yogjakarta.
