honestly one of the best decisions we made is to book this tour. the tour guide assigned to us was Kuya Eddie and he's very informative and helpful. It's so convenient -- they picked us up from the hotel at the correct time and the long drive to Silay was so fun because of Kuya Eddie. He shared us information about the lands we passed by, some tidbits of historical facts. He answered all our questions and was so accommodating of all our requests (ex. we needed to buy slippers, he showed us where to buy). He gave great food recos as well. the seafood is so fresh at the floating resto. it was so satisfying. the ancestral houses we went to have guides so we not only went around, but we also learned a lot. We saw Amorsolo paintings, Bencab and even Jose Rizal's own drawing in the Hilofina mansion. the guide at the Jalandoni mansion was so fun and game in demostrating how the stuff were used before. Fun trivias were also shared like how the ice had to be imported, etc. super worth the price

Recommend this tour as our driver/tour guide, Sir Eddie is very knowledgeable in the area as he is from Silay. He also helped us to take nice photos and also suggest/recommeded nice place to visit and eat around Bacolod.

We were able to visit all the ancestral houses stated in the tour then the lunch included was one of the must try restaurants in Silay which is Melkens. It was on our restos to try so it was a nice surprise that our driver dropped us there. Our driver was also friendly enough to drop by the El Ideal so we could buy snacks and pasalubong. Overall recommend the tour.

The partner of Klook, Southwest Travel Agency, provided a good vehicle for the tour and an accommodating driver (Kuya Ralph). On the way to Silay, initial info were provided regarding the sites which are to be visited. Kuya Ralph gladly answered other clarifications about the tour,travel routes in Bacolod... and FOOD QUERIES. The itinerary was good though we missed one, Balay Negrense, which was under renovation. The most appreciated house during that day is Tana Dicang's and the Ruins. Thumbs up as well for the jolliest guide at the Bernadino Jalandino Museum.

The tour guide was on time. The tour itinerary was followed. Lunch was worth 700 pesos (350 per pax), it was pretty good. Silay City is very rich in history. The driver was just not enthusiastic and quiet during the trip which we didn't like. There was also no free water as stated in the tour inclusives.

Balay Negrense is very nostalgic place. You will fell in different time. The ruins is the best place for souvenir photos.

My parents loved the hassle free day tour. They were able to maximize their 1 full day in Bacolod

I loved Silay! The driver we had though is not that enthusiastic.

This tour was supposed to be from 8:30am until 5:00pm. We were at the lobby at exactly 8:30am. When I texted the driver he said that the tour was supposed to start at 9:30am. We were not informed of this beforehand but told him it’s okay. When he arrived, we asked him to skip the Provincial Capitol and Lagoon and The Ruins since we already went to those places during our city tour. We only went to four sites: the Ramon Hofilena Ancestral Home, Balay Negrense, Bernardo Jalandoni Museum and El Ideal Bakery. We didn’t go to the following places that were included in the itinerary: Silay Pro Cathedral and Mini Ruins, Cinco De Noviembre Mark Point and Balay ni Tana Dicang. No explanation was provided as to why these spots were skipped. The tour was done by 2:00pm which was earlier than indicated in the intinerary. Overall, the places we went to were great. We learned a lot from the guides of every house we went to. I just wish that Southwest Tours could have informed us of the change in schedule and itinerary before the start of this tour.

We enjoyed our tour. The highlight for us was the one at Hofilena's, with one of the manor's sons personally guiding us through the house. Sir Winnie, our driver/tour guide, was amiable.
