K-Beauty χτένισμα στο Mércdi στο κομμωτήριο Seoul Seongsu

As a girly with natural curls(combo B3/C2) I always get really nervous going to a new stylist let alone one in a foreign country that doesn’t have the best reputation for handling textured hair. I looked for a stylist that at least does perms and some of her reference photos were close enough to my natural hair texture so I took the gamble and I’m so happy I did! I went in with reference photos of a shag /jellyfish cut and she nailed it. I always wait for the true test of that first wash and how my curls will dry naturally and the cut holds up beautifully! Even better than the last $$$ cut I got at a high end salon in SF where I had to wait out an awkward is it a mullet or is it a shag phase for weeks. Plus this was all around such a lovely experience. The salon is cozy, just you and the stylist. No pressure feeling like you’re on an assembly line and she truly listens to your requests. 10/10 do recommend.

I had an amazing experience at Merci in Seongsu! The hair stylist was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout the entire appointment. The color, keratin treatment, and styling were all done with great care and attention to detail. I especially appreciated how the stylist took the time to understand the look I wanted and provided recommendations that suited my hair. My hair feels healthier, smoother, and looks beautiful. The salon itself was clean, stylish, and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Korean hair styling in Seongsu!

I love the haircut I got here in Mercdi! I told the stylist the hairstyle I want and she cut and styled my hair meticulously and I loved the result. I highly recommend Mercdi.

偶然サーチで見つけて、行ってみた。 英語可能なのでコミュニケーションに問題なかった。 顔が左右非対称と言ったら、それに合わせてカットしてくれたり、 カット感の長さについては選択肢をくれた「こっちはこうなるけど、どう？」と 聞いてくれたり調整してくれる。 おかげでラッキーな場所見つけたので、もし韓国に来て 髪の毛が切りたくなったらまた行きたい。

Fantastic experience and service. "J" was an expert at helping to find a good cut for my face. She even allowed me to add a digital perm to my Klook ticket so I could get exactly what I wanted. Her technique was so incred8tbst I actually relaxed and fell asleep! 10 out of 10 recommend!

It was honestly one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had. The stylist really nice and understood my face shape and hair texture. The layered cut turned out so soft, light, exactly that trendy Korean vibe I wanted! I also loved how calm and private the salon felt. I would definitely come back on my next trip!

We had our haircuts by a very sweet girl working alone in a cozy shop. It’s upstairs once you get there, and we love our hair!

my hairstylist was absolutely amazing! my hair has been in a state of disrepair due to work and I wasn’t sure how much I needed to cut off so that it would stay healthy. She did my hair exactly the way I imagined it! she also asked me if I wanted to play music and shared a snack. I will definitely come back once I am in Seoul again :)
