We had a great time. It was a chill and enjoyable tour where we got to try some of Vietnam’s staple dishes, along with a few that were a bit unique. Liam was friendly and shared interesting information about the food and its background, which made the experience even better. We tried six dishes in total: bun cha, Vietnamese coffee, mixed pho, pho spring rolls, banh mi, and sticky rice ice cream (personal favorite) . If you enjoy walking, this tour is a great fit since each restaurant is about 700 meters to 1 km apart, making it a nice way to explore the area between stops. We ended the night with a cyclo ride. It was a nice way to take in the surroundings and also convenient because we didn’t have to worry about haggling over the price, something that can sometimes happen when arranging cyclo rides on your own. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a chill way to explore, walk around, and enjoy good food.

After hotel pickup, we had bun cha for lunch provided by the tour, which was excellent. The explanations at each stop were very informative, making for a great sightseeing experience. Our guide, Mr. Halu, was especially wonderful and outstanding. We also appreciate the driver for their smart and skillful driving.

This was my first time watching a Water Puppet show and I was truly impressed by the performance. I went with a group of 10 friends and we had booked VIP tickets for the 8pm show with an audio guide. Later, the theatre informed me that the show was fully booked and asked if we could switch to the 3pm show, which actually suited our schedule better. Initially I was hesitant because the 3pm show was not listed on Klook, but the staff assured me that additional show times were available. In the end, the process was smooth—we simply showed the same QR code and received our tickets without any hassle. The audio guide was excellent and helped us understand the stories and cultural context behind the performance. Our VIP tickets placed us in Row C (3rd row), which was a great spot and almost felt like watching a private show. A very memorable experience.
