We arrived at 2:30 and were warmly received by a staff member who arranged for tour guide Eric to start the activity. Since we only purchased the guided tour program, the staff reminded us that we could add juice and fruit plate for an additional RM10 per person. Eric carefully explained the different kinds of fruits in the world, picked fresh fruits from the trees for us to taste and experience, and taught us how to choose the best fruits on the market. It was an eye-opener for us and we got to know many fruits we had never seen before. Finally, I couldn’t get a Grab at 17:00, so the staff helped me solve the problem. They close at 17:30, but it’s more expensive, but it’s better than staying on the mountain. It’s recommended to call a car as soon as possible after arriving, or participate in activities at an earlier time.

Mr. Ong is a very good tourist guide. He is well versed of the area and explains the history well. He also knows good places to thrive, dine and even walk for a tourist like us. Highly recommended guide.

chill day biking around the countryside with a knowledgeable guide, Eddie! As the other reviews said the bikes were a bit old (the brake wasn’t too sensitive) but the paths weren’t too difficult/harsh for it, plus the seat was comfortable enough for the journey. I learnt a lot about what fuels the Malaysian/Penang economy from this tour visiting various plantations, farms and villages. only complaint is that there was no confirmation email about the exact pickup time beyond what’s listed in this activity page, so it was a bit daunting to be looking out the lobby constantly checking for a tour bus. (it is a white mini van seating around 15 ppl)

Best tour, and best tour guide. Really thankful for Tony, not just for showing us around and for sharing everything about penangs' history, but also, even to the extent of sending us to a coffee shop and to a food center WITHOUT charges. Really appreciate his efforts and hospitality.

Despite the intermittent sunshine and clouds on the day of our tour, we weren't disappointed at all; instead, we thoroughly enjoyed the rich, rustic atmosphere!
We appreciate our guide, James, for his attentive explanations and leadership throughout the trip. During the journey, we gained in-depth knowledge of Penang's communities, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town's old district, and the harmony and unique characteristics of different religions.
We savored the local cuisine and experienced the charm of the fishing village in Balik Pulau. We also visited the nutmeg factory, showcasing Malaysia's unique spice since ancient times, and the shrimp paste factory, a must-have condiment in local cuisine. We not only enjoyed the delicious nutmeg juice but also had the opportunity to buy souvenirs and bring the flavors home!
Before returning, we went to admire the paddy fields and distinctive container art. The lush green rice had already been harvested, and the sunlit paddy fields were filled with the atmosphere of nature. After the rain, the clear sky saw flocks of birds, large and small, darting back and forth, a truly mesmerizing sight. As the car meandered through the paddy field paths, we discovered extraordinary bird nests hanging in the trees, which was a real eye-opener! Finally, we savored authentic Laksa noodles and snacks before concluding our half-day tour and returning to George Town.
Thank you, James, for your professional guidance and attentive care throughout the entire journey!

It's been a great and memorable tour with Mr.Danny, he makes sure to visit all the places in the itinerary and even let us took a photo with the good spot. Because we still have time he suggested to us to experience the upside down house penang which we enjoyed much.

Tour guide Ricky Ooi had been in close contact with me before I set off. The original itinerary specified a meeting at Long Cheng Hotel. He flexibly arranged to pick us up at our hotel in George Town, which made us feel at ease 👍🏻 and arrived at the hotel in advance. He introduced us to the precautions and items of the relevant itinerary, so that we arrived at Penang Hill as soon as possible and took the first cable car 🚡 and guided us to the best position in the car to enjoy the scenery along the way 👍🏻 Advance reminder of various attractions, the wonderful places made us dazzled 👍🏻 The most exciting thing was that under his guidance, I enjoyed a perfect sunrise for the first time in history 🌅 The red sun suddenly rose on the horizon, which was shocking 🤩 Because it had just rained the day before, the sky was extremely bright, showing golden clouds, even the people on the day shouted that they had never seen it before, and finally saw a rainbow 🌈 It is really a rare opportunity 🧚🏻♀️ The most fortunate thing is that we were able to bump into Vicky, who has more than 30 years of tour guide experience. His professionalism is impeccable. The angle of the story of each attraction is very good. He also took care of our needs and took us to the Siam Sisters Curry Noodle Shop, which has won Michelin for two consecutive years, for breakfast and tasted the taste of food 👍🏻 RICKY is very experienced in leading private tours. He knows that customers have their own preferences, so he arranged flexible time and introduced the characteristics of the market in detail first, gave us time to move freely, and also treated us to the local specialty fried bananas 🍌👍🏻 When we were finally sent back to the hotel, it was still before 3:00 pm. He used his previous status to help us successfully lobby the hotel to let us check in early 👍🏻 Next time I come to Penang, I must find Ricky as a private tour guide 👍🏻 He is really a five-star tour guide 🤩 I sincerely recommend it to everyone 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
