We really enjoyed the tour. We visited some very beautiful places and had a delicious lunch. The guide was with us the whole time, telling us about the locations and creating a positive atmosphere. During the program, he offered us a choice for our next destination, which we were very happy about. As a group, the tourists decided to swap one of the excursions with lunch, which turned out to be a great decision. The tour was very diverse, including walking up steps, cycling, and a 2-hour boat ride with beautiful views. As for the downsides, the bus wasn't very comfortable, and there were no seatbelts in the last row. We also didn't like how some other tourists disregarded the time of the people, the tourists, the guide, and the driver. At the first location, we waited for some people for over 20 minutes on the bus, and at the second location, we waited for others for another 20 minutes.

The guide was fun and friendly. Ninh Binh was as great a trip as I had hoped. I highly recommend it for a day trip from Hanoi.

This was my second time visiting Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. It was a comfortable 2.5-hour bus ride, and once we arrived in Hoa Lu, it was a 7-8 minute bike ride to the ancient capital. On my previous tour, there wasn't much explanation, but this time there was a lot of information and no free time. Concepts like Yin and Yang and the Five Elements are easy for Asians to understand, but I wonder how Westerners perceive them? On the way back, we took a slight detour to the original starting point. Lunch was a buffet, neither good nor bad, just average. Afterward, we moved to Tam Coc for a one-hour ride on a 'Viet Cong' boat. Then we boarded the bus again to return to Hanoi. There are a few things that probably can't be improved: the occasional delay in pickup due to traffic, the subpar maintenance of the bicycles, and the unappetizing food. However, I think the tour content would be interesting for a first-timer. Tam Coc isn't really a place to visit twice; there's nothing to do on the boat. If it's your first time in Hanoi, I think it's better to go straight to Ha Long Bay, but even Ha Long Bay isn't a place you'd visit many times, so you can enjoy it for what it is.

Booking tickets for the first time was very easy, saved time, and I didn't have to wait in line. Trang An was very crowded, so everyone should book online. It's a bit of a shame there wasn't a discount code.

The place is beautiful. We also had no problems with the transpo and activities abeit the bikes that we used was not in very good condition. The lunch was a feast with a good variety of food. Hieu/Lucas is also a very enthusiastic guide.
