Things to do in Seokguram Grotto

We had a wonderful day exploring Gyeongju with our guide, Irene, and our driver. Communication prior to the trip was effective with Irene being very proactive from the start of our booking, making sure our needs were addressed (including going all out to get a baby car seat for my niece!) . Everything went smoothly from start to finish — they were both very punctual and made sure we traveled comfortably throughout the day. Irene was extremely patient with us, even when we took a bit more time at some of the sites. She’s very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting historical facts about the cultural landmarks we visited. We also appreciated her great food recommendations! Irene speaks both English and Mandarin fluently, which made communication so easy for everyone in our group. Overall, it was a fantastic and well-organized tour, highly recommend to anyone who is keen to do a private chartered day tour with them.

Fell in love woth Gyeongju. I joined this tour solo and was a little nervous, but the guide made everyone feel welcome right away. He was so warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Even offered to take photos for us without being asked. The tour itself was well-paced and organized. I learned so much about Korean culture and history of Gyeongju, all thanks to the guide’s clear and thoughtful explanations. My fav place was the tumb and forest. So peaceful and beautiful. A wonderful experience I’d happily recommend.

Our tour guide, Kang, was a very nice person! He explained everything very thoroughly! We were in a vehicle that seated about 12 people, which was very comfortable. The scenery was incredibly beautiful! I highly recommend this tour, especially the bamboo forest.
