Gateway of India tours

Great tour, our guide was very informative and entertaining. Transport was comfortable and they were flexible to accomodate to our custom requests to start at a later time and to stop by some additional spots or to skip certain places. Great value for money and was truly an amazing experience getting to see so much of Mumbai in the little time that we had left there.

It was a nice trip. It took one hour to get to the island and Hamid make nice conversation about Mumbai and Elephanta Caves and at the end of our trip also told us about Gateway of India. Upon arrival on the island, we were met by another guide who took us around the caves and told us their history.

Thank you our guide-Hamid & driver (Salman) taking us to a lot of scenic spots. We felt a full of energetic and enthusiastic in India. Hamid also introduced many stories and history. We really were enjoyable this tour.

The day before departure, they proactively contacted me via WhatsApp to remind me to arrive on time. On the day of the activity, there were a total of five tourists, including myself. Because it was the rainy season, it rained heavily when we met in the morning. However, since we were traveling by train the whole time, it didn't affect the itinerary, and the rain subsided after we arrived at the laundry. After meeting at Churchgate Station, the tour guide, Alam, took us in order to (1) Mahalaxmi Station to see Dhobi Ghat Laundry, (2) Dharavi Slum at Mahim Station, and finally (3) back to Churchgate Station to see the Dabbawalas lunchbox deliverymen. The train arrangement was quite clever, skillfully avoiding the rush hour. The whole activity was very relaxed, and the explanations were very in-depth. It's a great way to quickly experience a side of Mumbai life in half a day.

Our tour guy Khan is nice and amazing. He took us to the most interesting and local place. And the Street food which he recommended is so teasy. Huge recommend for Khan.

Huge shoutout to my tour guide, Fahad! He was incredibly informative about all the places we visited and such a genuinely good guy. I highly recommend him. Even though the pickup was a bit late from the agreed time, they still managed to cover all the destinations on our itinerary without rushing. If I ever get the chance to visit India again, I would definitely want Fahad as my guide. I truly enjoyed the entire tour—thanks so much guys!

Totally recommend this activity for few reasons: hassle-free, worry-free and very smooth organisation. Our guide Danish contacted us a day before and confirmed the puck-up time and location. I recommend to go in the morning (9am slot), so that you can avoid crowd and the hottest part of the day. After discovering the caves, we had some time left and Danish showed us a view point and Cannon hill.

Very well organised tour starting with good communications with guide Fahad. Kept updated when transfer arrived (even in Mumbai traffic). knowledgeable and provided good insights into the interesting aspects of the caves. An overall 5-star tour thanks to Fahad. recommended when you have a day in Mumbai
