Overall, I'd highly recommend it! The pick-up/drop-off location in the city is very convenient. The itinerary was planned perfectly, not too rushed and not too relaxed, a comfortable schedule and arrangement. The Maeklong Railway Market is very unique, and although the Wat Bang Kung (Tree Temple) and Rama II Memorial Park are not large, they are still very distinctive. Especially the Amphawa Floating Market at the end, it was very pleasant to stroll around, and it felt very Thai. The firefly viewing at the end was really amazing. It was the first time I saw such clear "white light" fireflies, which are different from the yellow light ones in Taiwan, and they were all over the trees, which was very romantic. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the seats in the van were a bit small, and there wasn't enough leg/knee room, which made the overall 12-hour trip not very comfortable to sit in. Coupled with the quality of the Thai highways, the entire ride experience was slightly diminished.

Because I wanted to see the famous railway market and floating market, and didn't want to do too much research on transportation, I chose this one-day tour to simplify transportation. This itinerary has several good points and points that can be better: 1. This group happened to have a tour guide who could speak both Chinese and English. He spoke Chinese without any accent, so it was ok for communication and asking questions. The driver drove very steadily. 2. This group takes the train to the train market, which is different from other groups who watch the train entering the station from the ground. However, there are also a lot of people on the train and there is no place to sit, so you can think about whether you want to experience this feeling or greet the train entering the station on the ground. 3. The stay at the floating market is three hours, which I originally thought was too long, but with a slow stroll and dinner, it's actually ok. Disadvantages: 1. The shuttle bus is a modified van, and the seats don't have seat belts. People who have concerns about safety should evaluate it. In addition, because it is a modified car, the air-conditioning doesn't feel very cold. 2. The time spent at the railway market is less than an hour (including the time for dinner), which I think is very short and I can't have a good stroll. 3. There is an activity of taking a boat to watch fireflies in the evening, which is quite special, but I took a half-hour boat ride to see the fireflies, and then rushed back by boat after not seeing them for 1 minute. This is... It is also worth mentioning that there will be traffic jams on the way back to Bangkok city, so please don't arrange other trips, because we arrived in Bangkok city an hour later than scheduled.

The tour guide was wonderful and very kind, ensuring a truly enjoyable day. I especially enjoyed the train market. I hopped on an individual boat as soon as we reached the floating market, experiencing a wonderful tour of the river. I grew up in New York, where we had many fireflies, so I didn't necessarily need to see them again, but I believe others truly appreciated it, especially those who haven't experienced fireflies in their lives as I did as a child. Overall, it was a great trip, and the tour guide was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

We first went to Salt Lake De Maeklong. It was a simple yet picturesque cafe. To my surprise, their drinks are at par delicious and of really good quality. I do appreciate how this cafe showcases Thailand's local Sea Salt production. The Maeklong Railway experience was unforgettable too. Though a bit crowded, we still manage to appreciate its beauty. Champ, our tour guide also recommended a place to eat and it did not disapoint. Food were delicious and affordable. Apmhawa Floating Market, stunning as always. There's something magical about that place. My second time visit yet I'm still in awe. The boat ride made the tour even more relaxing. Overall, the tour was an amazing experience. Feels like home, honestly. Another memory to keep. Our tour guide Champ, was funny, smart, and honest. I love that he converses in English well. My mom & dad had a great conversation with him. He was also patient with us. Overall, he's a cool guy and I highly recommend him.

As a solo traveller i had an amazing time on the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Maeklong Railway Market tour.
Watching the train pass right through the market was such a cool experience! The floating market was colorful and lively, with lots of delicious local food and souvenirs. Our guide Ms. Wan was friendly, funny and informative, making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a must-do when visiting Bangkok!

The meeting point was very convenient, and our guide, Oilly, was very attentive. We spent an hour at the Maeklong Railway Market and it was great to see the train pass through. Wat Chulamanee was just a sightseeing stop and didn't particularly interest us. The free Thai costume experience was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps because we visited on a weekday, we were the only tour group there, and the staff acted as photographers, taking many pictures for us. We also had dinner here, which was reasonably priced and the food was good. Finally, the boat trip to see the fireflies was very enjoyable. It was beautiful to see the trees full of twinkling fireflies, like lights on a Christmas tree. The return trip was to the same meeting point, and Jodd Fairs Night Market is just across the street, which was great for more browsing.

An experience that deserves a 10 out of 10! You get to see all the places in this timeframe, and it is highly recommended for those who have little time available. Although it lasts about 12 hours, it's very comfortable, and the van was top-notch and full of amenities (we were a group of 6). Our guide Jackye, although she spoke basic English, was perfect, thoughtful, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Visiting the Floating Market and the Railway Market was truly a rewarding experience and absolutely worth the price. The vibrant atmosphere, the colorful boats filled with fresh produce, and the unique way vendors sell right along the train tracks made the tour unforgettable. It’s not just sightseeing, it’s being immersed in the culture and daily life of the locals. Every moment felt authentic, exciting, and well worth it.
