Transport in Hat Yai

The arrangement was good. The journey took about 4.5 hours in total from the bus station to the pier (2h), and then from the pier to lipe (1.5) including the time waiting for boat boarding time. We departed around 10:00 AM and reached lipe around 3PM. Overall, the trip was good. We asked how long it would take from a certain point to another, and the driver briefly explained it to us. The condition of the boat and the van was also condusive. There was no waiting time, and everything went smoothly. Thank you so much.

Second time visiting Koh Lipe, and this time I didn't book through the hotel. Instead, I booked the Hi Lipe transportation service (van and boat) on Klook. They picked us up from our hotel in Hat Yai at 8:00 AM and took us directly to the pier (unlike last time when we had to go to their office, which wasted time). After communicating with the staff, Klook customers can directly enter the VIP lounge to enjoy a complimentary drink, air conditioning, and charging stations! Thumbs up! There isn't an office in front of the Hat Yai bus terminal, nor is the van waiting in advance. It was almost time, but I couldn't find anything, and I was getting anxious because I had seen reviews that the van had left before the time. So, I called the business phone number on the voucher. An employee answered right away, knew who I was, and the conversation went smoothly. That female employee was really efficient and sent the driver right away, so I was able to get on the van without any issues. If you are Korean and booking this, wait at the 7-Eleven in front of the bus terminal, and if the van doesn't come, contact the office. The van was quite decent. It took 2 hours to get to the pier, where I waited for an hour before taking a speedboat. There were two rows of seats in the center and seats arranged along the perimeter of the boat. Sitting on the perimeter seats for 1 hour and 30 minutes was a bit uncomfortable, but I arrived at the island just as it was getting a little tough, which was perfect. If possible, sit in the two center rows of seats. Overall, it wasn't bad. The phone operator and the staff at the port had good English pronunciation, so I could understand them easily. They were also quick to understand my clumsy English and handled things efficiently, which was great.
