Fantastisch

Located directly next to a stunning church - and just a 3-minute walk to a major shopping area, the Dunlin is the best value hotel in Central Athens. It is within 100-meters the Greek National Theare - and the hotel’s excellent breakfast buffet on the Top floor offers a stunning 360-degree view of Athens as well as the Parthenon / Acropolis. Negatives? Glassed-in showers are not for the modest at heart… and there are some homeless folks throughout Central Athens (and in most major cities worldwide). I would definitely stay at the Dunlin again!

The Hotel is excellent. Our stay was peaceful and well serviced. The front desk team has been so helpful. We left an item behind and we were notified right away. The breakfast on the rooftop and drinks in the evening were a true highlight. We were so close to the Unesco Heritage cite. We will return. Thank you

The hotel itself is nice. We had a small double room and it was cramped for the two of us to stay in. We met a local on our flight into Athens describing the area that the hotel is located in as one of the worst in the city. Several others also corroborated this description of the location. When we arrived it didn’t seem nearly as bad as we had expected or made to believe, however, it was obvious that the area was significantly different in terms of the populations that resided around the location as well as some of the items on the ground around the property (needles)…. During the day it was fine but we were instructed not to be walking around there late which made the stay much less enjoyable. The rooftop bar was nice and breakfast was average. Overall an okay stay.

This was our final stop before leaving Greece. The hotel was nice. However one of the three rooms we had smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke. The temperature of the hotel was so hot. Even with air conditioning it still was too hot. The staff was overall not very friendly. We felt nickeled and dimed over the breakfast buffet when we were spending a lot of money on three rooms. I will look elsewhere the next time I am in Athens.

The value for the hotel was good and right where it needed to be. Very good value for a 1 or 2 night stay for just sleeping. Not much in the way of extras. Room was a little small by American stds, but adequate. The area, in general, was a little sketchy but not over the top. Breakfast was fair, but not quite as good as other Greek hotels. I would stay again. The clerk was very kind and allowed us to store our luggage while we went sailing for a week.

Chambre grande et propre, personnel très accueillant, très bien positionné dans la ville d’Athènes et sécuritaire. Seul point négatif est le déjeuner buffet qui est très peu varié et très basique, mais fait la job pour un matin!
