Every afternoon the owners' children and their friends would take over the pool, screaming, running wild and making a lot of noise, effectively preventing guests from using the pool.
Once it also happened in the morning and woke us up.
Some walls were covered with mold, shower water pressure wasn't good and the temperature was either too hot or too cold.

The Muse was an amazing little hotel! We loved every minute and wished we could stay longer! Nice and quiet and old town is about a 10 minute walk away, very convenient!! The staff go over and above to help, arranged cars for us, booked little excursions, cannot say how amazing it was!!

We stayed at The Muse House for 15 nights. It was fantastic! The family and staff were super friendly. The full breakfast was delicious! Very quiet spot, nice pool and sitting area. Rooms are very spacious. The only sounds at night are the occasional dog barking and the roosters. The Muse House is about a 15 minute walk to the main centre of Hoi An. Highly recommend!!!

Situated just over the bridge from the main hub of Hoi A this hotel is the perfect base if you want to escape the hussle and bustle of the centre but still be in walking distance to everything. The room was big and clean, the pool was a great way to cool off after hot days exploring. We had a load of laundry done which was returned quickly and to a high standard. Very helpful friendly staff, always on hand for any questions. I would recommend this hotel.

We could not recommend this place more highly. The staff who run the accommodation are so lovely and helpful. They organised tours and drivers for us. A great breakfast each morning was included. Thank you very much for looking after us so well.

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a great location, within a 10 minute walk over the bridge to the main markets in old town. It was great value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was very nice.
