Great place

We enjoyed this hotel. Very nice e room and great shower. Location was not too far outside of downtown. Only issue was no effective air conditioning during heatwave.

Picture online of the amenities were a bit deceiving. Perhaps I read into it incorrectly . I thought laundry was in suite. It was shared laundry you had to pay for in the basement. Laundry app gave me issues and dryer didn’t dry the clothes. Stayed here specifically for laundry. Staff is extremely friendly here. Property is nice and clean . Breakfasts were great . Coffee offered all day which was nice. We stayed during the weekend and found out we could have parked along the street for free . When I checked in I asked about parking and was told the only parking option was underground for 19 euro per night … if I had kept my car where it was it would have been free . I was annoyed by that. We had a car so getting to places was easy, unsure about location for someone who doesn’t have a car .

I had previously stayed at a Rioca hotel in Vienna and it was excellent so i decided to try the Rioca Posto 3 Munich. I was not disappointed. The Rioca Posto 3 Munich was excellent. It was clean and my room modern and comfortable. The building was quiet and i did not hear any road noise. The shower was amazing with excellent water pressure and hot water. The bar area was great to stop and have a refreshment at the end of the day. The staff were amazing at check in and during my stay. I was very happy with the price of the room. I needed directions on using the U Bahn and S Bahn and the staff helped me every time with simple and excellent directions. The U Bahn and S Bahn are a short walk from the hotel making access to anywhere in Munich very convenient. There is an Italian restaurant about a 7-10 minute walk from the hotel and across the street from the restaurant there is a small (limited seating) takeout pizza place. I went to the pizza place once and had some spicy penne and and beer for 11 Euros and it was excellent. I wish i had of found the pizza place earlier. I would stay again at either of the Rioca hotels in Vienna or Munich.

The hotel was excellent, really friendly staff and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind staying bit out of centre. S bahn and other travel was easy so no problem getting around. Rooms were lovely. Really nice seating area, hanging chair and kitchenette facilities.

Staff and facilities were great. The bartenders were all wonderful and gave some wonderful recommendations for local eateries. U-bahn and S-bahn stations are within walking distance. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed 10 days and everything was great! We loved the cofee every morning, the option to pay for breakfast buffet, oarking, riom service, the decor and cleanness of the hotel. Its conveniently located near subway, with a handful of bars, restraunts, grocery store close by. We loved our stay

Room and hotel was clean and staff polite However a few little issues have not secured my custom on future visits to Munich. Rooms are not cleaned daily (we stayed a week and were informed we needed to ask mid week - we did but I don’t think it would have been cleaned if we hadn’t asked). Cleaning does not include changing glasses / cups - they provide a small bit of washing up liquid and a tea towel but beyond a bit of a swill the kitchen set up is not really suitable for cooking and cleaning up after a small meal being cooked. There is a small dishwasher but you have to buy the tablets from reception for €1 euro. Kitchen has sink / microwave (but with a sticker over the display which makes it awkward to use) and two hobs. There is a Nespresso coffee maker, but really annoying that you have to pay €1.50 to reception for pods to use it - which seems very unreasonable given it is a hotel (just give guests some instant coffee)! You can go and get free cups of coffee from the reception area to take to your room - but it’s a lot of faf to get a hot drink in the morning/evening (including down and up the lift). To use the laundry facilities you need to pay (which is fair) - but the only option is via a downloaded app to which you have to add a minimum of €20 credit - then buy a detergent tablet for €2 euros. Just some niggles that make a lovely place not so appealing as it really should be as a hotel. The location is fab - 10 mins on the U Bahn and you are in the centre.

Friendly staff, clean room with everything you could need. Would happily stay again
