Never before have I slept on a sofa bed in a hotel. We are in our mid 60s. It was awful. The shower contained long black hairs and black pubic hair. Which were differently not ours. Ours are white. It says it has a bar. But was told on arrival it had no bar. The receptionist recommended a good French restaurant. We asked what was the selection of food there. The receptionist informed us it was very good Pizza only and this is French. We did find a really good French restaurant in town. Where we ate Duck.

Pro: Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably comfortable suite. Windows that open. Kitchen had the necessary amenities. Supermarket steps away. Con: Location 20-30 min drive from Bordeaux city centre.

The laundry facility on site is great. They need to provide a kettle for making your own coffee or tea. The front desk is helpful. It is a good place to stay for accessing the university, but not for accessing the city center.
