The staff is really friendly and helpful. Having the sauna and hot tub after a long day was so nice and having the restaurant right there was so easy. The food was really good too ! Our room was clean the only negative was it was super hot we had trouble sleeping even with the window open.

Maybe add an oven in the Kitchener

This hostel is nicely set up with curtains on each bunk for privacy, your own light and plug in. The staff were exceptional. The sauna and hot tub were a really nice bonus. I’d recommend staying here.

The property is very clean and has all the amenities you can think of you might need in there. The best of all is the shoe dryer.

We weren’t sure what to expect, but we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the laundry facilities and enjoyed one of the best dinners we had in Iceland in the hotel restaurant. I would highly recommend Midgard Base Camp to anyone visiting this area.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great places to relax outside of your room. The outdoor space was awesome- great landscapes, horses and views. Staff was really helpful. Food was great! This was our first night stay after arriving in Iceland and I truly enjoyed the experience this place created.

What an amazing stay! The food was fresh and delicious, the room clean and comfortable. What a view! So family friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone, and would stay here again!
