The location is great, next to the Rialto bridge and minutes walking to any point in Venice. We got the standard room so it was abit tight. Breakfast provided is ok. Lower floor is noisy from foot traffic and restaurants next to the hotel. If you are planning on a transfer to and from the airport to the hotel, be very specific on asking for direct private water taxi only service. By default the hotel arrange a car pickup then transfer to water taxi both ways and this will add at least another 20 plus minutes to your journey.

“I stayed at Hotel Marconi in Venice and had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, my iPhone went missing from my luggage which was stored at the hotel. The last known location of the phone shows it was at the hotel property. When I contacted the hotel, instead of helping, they denied responsibility and did not cooperate in investigating the issue. I also contacted Hotels.com, but they simply redirected me back to the hotel without any support. This is not about luxury or room size — it’s about safety and customer care. When something serious happens, a hotel should at least show concern and try to help. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled. Travelers should be cautious.”

The best thing this hotel can offer to you is the location close to the Vaporretto Rialto stop. You have to cross the Rialto bridge to catch a water bus going either direction. It is super conveniently located. The room I stayed was clean. The breakfast they serve was very good. I enjoyed it very much. Although the hotel itself is not new, it is quite acceptable considering the location.

100% would recommend and will be coming back! The room and bathroom was immaculate- absolutely spot less! Amazing view and location of the canal and bridge. Walkable to sight. The staff went above and beyond to make this stay comfortable for us.

The hotel can use an update and room is tight for a family of 4. Travelling during shoulder months means there is no A/C and room was very hot. Breakfast was great, staff helpful and location is perfect but it is located in a very busy area so expect crowds and street noise from the room.
