Close to the action but far from the beach. Main 66 beach only accessible by car. Shopping nearby was very ordinary and overpriced. Could not eat at the resort, food was not nice. Room was never cleaned properly and never recieved bath towels or clean glasses. Had to call reception late in the afternoon after we came back to hotel to get room cleaned - unacceptable. Not a good part of Seminyak in my opion. Would never come back. Bali was extremely dissapointing, doubt i will be back.

The staff are lovely, kind and helpful, however regarding the hotel itself, there were clearly issues with general cleanliness - the room had a musty smell with black mould / dust around the air con units, and other guests in the group mentioned similar to us about the general cleanliness of the rooms - these were all suites. Food and drink - No ‘bill’ could be created without putting down a non refundable deposit first, so everything was pay as you go, which was slightly inconvenient. We travelled as a family with 5 children of varying ages. The pool closes at 8pm, yet at 7pm (after being on a day trip) we received a complaint of the children needing to leave the pool as a guest had complained about the noise as they sat on their balcony - quote ‘the guest said they know it’s a family hotel and that children play but didn’t expect the annoying noise’ so that was something that irritated all 6 adults. Breakfast wasn’t the best variety - lots of flies hovering on food too. All in all, the hotel didn’t live up to any great expectations. The staff were beautiful and helpful the majority of the time, but the experience of the accommodation wasn’t the best with a lot of dated areas.

We enjoyed our stay. Firstly, the staff were amazing. They were friendly, helpful and attentive. The best staff ever! The rooms were clean and quite modern. The buffet breakfast was 5 star. From freshly squeezed juices to bagels. Nothing was too much to ask for. We will return. 🙏

I stayed alone in my room and unfortunately experienced the same hygiene problems during my stay. Late at night, I noticed multiple insects inside the room and around the bed area. For a hotel operating under the Marriott brand, this was honestly shocking and extremely disappointing. What disturbed me the most was not only the insects themselves, but also the condition they left behind. After discovering larvae inside my luggage and clothing, I no longer felt comfortable bringing many of my belongings back home. I had to throw away several personal items and purchase replacements during my trip. I specifically chose this hotel because I expected international brand standards, cleanliness, and reliability. Instead, I spent the night stressed, uncomfortable, and seriously questioning the hygiene conditions of the property. This experience was far below the standards I expected from a globally recognized hotel chain.

I have never experienced such a disturbing hotel stay in my life. We woke up in the middle of the night to my wife screaming because there were numerous insects crawling on the bed and around the room. One of the insects bit me and caused a serious reaction, forcing me to go to the hospital and pay significant medical expenses. Even worse, the insects left larvae inside our luggage and clothing, which forced us to throw away many of our belongings and buy replacements. Knowing that these kinds of risks can exist in Bali, I specifically chose the Marriott brand because I trusted it as a global and reliable hotel chain. However, what we experienced was completely unacceptable. Our room was not changed until around 2:00 AM, and the stress we experienced was indescribable.
