The hotel is very grand; set in lovely gardens with a long driveway. It is set in an original village of Milton Keynes with a nearby old church and pub and has plenty of parking. The hotel has a nice bar and a restaurant. It was clean and quiet and the staff were very professional and helpful.
There was a limited choice from a breakfast buffet but plenty available and it was fresh and of good quality.
The hotel decor looks a little tired in places but the hotel is unique with stately charm and efficiently run.

Grossartig Staff was very friendly and accommodating considering how busy the property was due to the weekend’s events. The room was clean, however the carpet had a very bad smell. Despite our efforts to spray and mask the smell; the carpet needs cleaning to get rid of the smell.

Grossartig The aircon is really good 😂 that was my main reason for the stay to be honest.
With a little bit more attention to detail this place could be really nice. Its small things like leaving the shower gel container empty, not getting the cobwebs in the bathroom corners and having a dirty throw on the bed that make it not seem that great. I also managed to confuse someone behind the bar asking for a vodka and coke.
There is a fridge in the room and room service is offered. Smart TV with Netflix. Comfy bed, which some may find too soft though.

Very comfortable little hotel that has been recently renovated. Our deluxe double was quite spacious and well equipped with both a roll top bath and a walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the restaurant provided tasty food. It was all excellent value for money.
