Very disappointing stay at Sofitel The Palm Dubai. We arrived at 4 PM and our room was still not ready despite the advertised 3 PM check in, only gaining access around 4:30 PM. After that, it took over an hour to set up the sofa bed despite informing staff that our children were exhausted and needed to rest.
The biggest frustration was the valet service. The team could not locate our car, and it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to retrieve it. Service throughout the hotel was consistently slow and appeared disorganized.
The pools and common areas were overcrowded, and overall management seemed unable to cope with the volume of guests. For a stay costing close to $1,000 per night, the experience fell far short of expectations. There are many better options in Dubai offering superior service and value for significantly less. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
