Perfect position to be, right in the heart of the city, walking distance from everywhere really

Great location and comfortable room and bed. the staff were so friendly on arrival and made us feel very welcome. They had even put an air conditioning unit in the room as it was warm. I have only marked it down as there was no mini fridge in the room as described - fabulous coffee though and fresh milk, not just sachets of instant.

Noise level was too high, and check in too complicated for the price.

Nice. Quirky. Noisy. No air conditioning.

Very clean and quaint room. Breakfast was included in the rate, we were able to order from the restaurant menu. Delicious!!

The room was furnished and decorated well, although the window had some mould due to its age (presume difficult to solve in a listed building). The staff were friendly although they’re shared between the pub and the hotel so you may need to wait a little while. We had some issues with the shower, the tap handle was nearly impossible to turn so couldn’t adjust the temperature. Overall, I’d say it’s a great location and nice hotel although full price might be difficult to stomach.

Amazing stay and breakfast was fantastic (it’s a menu and full English is an option on there). The proximity to all the shops near by is fantastic. The only improvement I would provide is the pillows were lumpy.

Our stay was absolutely lovely, the staff the check/check out, the cleanliness everything was perfect. Highly recommended. The food and drinks for what we had including breakfast was gorgeous. Accommodation is in the middle of town and close to everything you need

Room for improvement: Lack of amenities (toothbrush, slippers). No 24hr reception Slow breakfast service Pros: Nice room Good breakfast

Clean rooms, perfect location, tasty breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more - a very affordable gem of a find!!!
