Air conditioning did not work well, room was tight and in the small side

We are a family of 4 including 13 year old and this was the first trip to Italy(Europe) from Canada. We landed at Venice and arrived at Milan central station using high speed train. We used Freenow taxi(Lyft) to go to the hotel. Uber is also available in Milan and there was Uber pickup and dropoff spot right in front of the station, but we had to walk to the specific spot to take Freenow taxi which was located a block away from the staition. Better take Uber if you rush to the station. The hotel location was very good and it took 10 to 15 min using either Uber or Freenow taxi depending on the traffic. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was kind and gave detailed information whenever I asked. The beds were comfy and good size for us. The washroom was clean and no issues for taking a shower(No bathtub). The hotel amenities we used were breakfast area and the bar area. The breakfast was very good and I would give 10 out of 10 for the quality and the variety of choices. Only a couple of complaints I had was there was no ice machines at all because we wanted to drink ice cold water during hot days in the summer. But no worries, the staff at the bar gave ices for free when I asked. Another complaints I had was there were not many choices of restaurants nearby. Better check business hours because there are many restaurants closed during weekends.

Good stuff

This hotel was not 4 star level, room was too small and not well maintained. The bedsheets had stains on them when we checked in. we had to ask the staff to give us clean sheets. We also found some mosquitos in the room. The AC took so long to cool down the room. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly helped with booking taxi's.

Staff is very friendly and try their best. The rooms are decent size and have a fridge. Downside, the AC is mediocre and am glad we brought personal fans. The beds, linen and towels were clean, even though the floor wasn't. A plus, parking in the premises and walking distance from bus stops.

It’s clean and comfortable but The only major problem with this hotel is mosquitoes getting into the room through the air conditioning vents; during the two nights I stayed there, I had to kill seven mosquitoes, even though the windows were kept closed the entire time.

This place ruined the “stay” portion of Milan for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, period. I was scalded trying to turn on the shower, it was not easy and when I finally got it to an over hot but liveable temp, it surged hotter every 30 seconds. The bar fridge was off,worked only with the room key. Not good for a fridge. The “bistro” served only previously frozen food and we were so tired we tried it anyway, resulting in my husband paying 15 euro for a frozen pizza that was cold. Sent it back and we walked out. Never ever again
