This property and staff are outstanding

The best thing about this hotel was the rooftop pool. It doesn't truly feel like vacation unless there's a pool. I went up there late afternoons, went in pool with my husband and baby then sat and ate the duck confit nachos and drank a delicious margarita. The general ambiance of the hotel is also wonderful, it feels classic and elegant with huge paintings adorning the walls and a restaurant with leather seats on ground floor. Staff was great, valet parking great. Location was right next to Market Street so we did a ton of shopping and strolling through the historical neighborhood. Beautiful architecture, sweet tea, shopping galore...I love Charleston!

Easy check in process and appreciated the 1200 checkout. We were able to utilize the pool area later in the morning before checkout. Valet was easy and helpful. The room was clean, well kept and quiet. We even had a balcony that overlooked Bay Street. Just a fantastic hotel.

The whole overall experience was exceptional. The staff the room, the beautiful pool setting made for a lovely trip. The poolside bar and menu were also very good. The location is perfect central to many restaurants and activities. We look forward to returning for another visit.

Great location, very helpful staff . Awesome bar with best cocktails in town ( even beats new Cooper hotel) Excellent view from roof top Morning coffee needs improvement , but good pastries. Gym is very small and not even basic :( But still an excellent stay overall Rooms are soundproof . No street noise .

We had an amazing time. Everyone at the hotel that we interacted with were beyond exceptional. Thereasan at the Front Desk was constantly assisting us with recommendations for restaurants, directions to places we were interested in, and my Uber app. Yes! First time users. Noah on the Rooftop Bar was amazing! So accommodating. After a huge storm he made sure he got us dry chair cushions to sit on, his service was excellent, and the nicest young man. He had the best attitude always smiling even after a hot long day. Danny was fantastic as well and so helpful. Two tho gs I’d change. Wish they served breakfast and that our view from our room on second floor was the roof with an A/C unit. Would’ve loved a better view. Otherwise our room was lovely. The hotel was spotless. Thank you for a wonderful visit! We will be back! John and Stephanie
