This was our third visit and again this wonderful hotel not disappoint. This was part of a trip for our wedding anniversary and discovered we had been upgraded with treats in the room on our arrival. After a lovely check in where we were recognised from our previous visit, we were brought some champagne and sat at a bar in the lounge area to relax after the cab ride from the airport before being taken to our room to discover the upgrade and some lovely heart-shaped truffles.
Breakfast in this hotel has so much choice, from fruits, meats & cheeses, a cooked breakfast and the bread/patisserie section, served with fresh squeezed juice and hot coffee. To date this remains the only hotel where I've been asked how hot I want my coffee served
After a day out, we returned and had booked dinner in the River Lounge, where although its not cheap which you wouldn't expect for a 5 star hotel, the food was delicious and good value. An extra "Anniversary" dessert was served as a treat.
The bar staff and drinks also exceed expectation with delicious cocktails, beers and snacks!
There was some maintenance/refurbishment work ongoing on 2 floors of the hotel, but this was isolated and there was no noise disturbance.
If you're celebrating, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel part of the Myriad family and we will be back again!
