Kayumanis is a wonderful place with excellent staff who provide friendly efficient service. The Villas are beautiful and spacious, the grounds are well kept and food excellent.
However if considering this location there are a couple of things to be aware of.
This is not a buggy serviced property, some villas are a long walk from the reception and the pathways are uneven. If elderly or uneasy with walking this needs to be considered as getting to the restaurant or river side general pool is a long walk over many steps.
The Villas are large and beautiful although most have outside bathrooms, this all seems very romantic on arrival but is more of a challenge late at night when basically you are visiting the toilet in the jungle, where you hear all sorry of noise from the bushes. Remember do not leave outside lights on over night as the local wildlife at attracted by light .
Kayumanis is well located just 10 mins outside Ubud and the hotel offers a shuttle service during the day, and a driver service after 5pm.
Don’t let any of the above put you off, arriving here will put a smile on your face , and the staff will keep it there.
