Unfortunately there were a couple of cocktails that couldn’t be made for some reason But the wine was amazing!!!!

The driveway is full of potholes. Neither it nor the carpark are paved. It's Dirt and some roadbase. The marked parking spaces are so tight. Don't bring a nice car or wear good shoes! The entrance to the reception is up a flight of stairs with no signage to indicate that they have disability access or ramps. To find this, you have to walk around and discover the sign for the disabled entrance yourself or be told where it is once you've made it up the stairs to reception. There are no lifts even though the hotel is over 3 floors. I know it's an old building, but a lift can be installed. The reception staff were helpful, however, and carried my bags. The room was nice, but I was awoken by a high pitched noise coming from the fridge, every time the compressor switched on, which I eventually unplugged from the wall, just so I could sleep. The bottom of the vanity unit was held together with gaffer tape. The bathrooms near reception reminded me of my primary school toilets (from 40 years ago!). They need redoing completely. Buffet breakfast is pretty ordinary. There's a lovely lounge area in which to relax by the fireplace with plenty of seating. I won't be back.

The staff were lovely and housekeeper very friendly. The room itself was lovely and very clean with access to a large balcony with a beautiful view. However, the hotel room bathroom is so old and needs renovating which let the room down. I believe the room rate is too high due to the old and outdated bathroom.

Another wonderful night at Peppers Craigieburn. On a busy afternoon (mother’s day), the staff kept their cool and the well oiled machine rolled on. We were upgraded to a king-bedroom which was on the ground floor and very comfortable. The room was clean, well heated and had an abundance of natural light

Air conditioning hot. Hallways bits of food on them. Rooms reasonably clean, however, water marks on the ceilings. Restaurant we could not get in for dinner, we ate from the bar, food was terrible. They refunded the food from the bar after we complained to the receptionist in the morning. In the morning we could not find any seat in the restaurant for breakfast which we had pre-paid. Asked the receptionist for a refund for the breakfast, she said "she would have to ask the manager. Five star hotel without help with our bags up the stair. Service not to that standard of a five star. We ended having breakfast in Bowral. They offered us the Lounge to have breakfast However, this was not suitable because of the low tables. Their excuse was that they had a very large booking (a wedding)

Have stayed at this hotel few times before and love the setting and lovely staff. Sadly though the venue seems to be neglected and gone downhill so can no longer recommend. There is visible lack of maintenance on the rooms and exterior. It is pricey and so losing its competitiveness with other nearby hotels. definitely cannot recommend opting for the breakfast which has really gone downhill. This morning the food in bain maries was cold and pastries definitely not fresh. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and room clean and one can sleep well as it is so quiet. Great to wake to bird song. Finally , the sign for the hotel entry is not lit and hard to spot .

I am 72 and I had to carry my heavy bags up a flight of stairs and another 100 metres to our room. There wasn't a staff member in site to assist

Room was very small with creaky floors and very noisy overall. Elm balcony room has a shared balcony which wasn’t specified so I had people talking and hanging outside my room and could see inside my room. This is expensive hotel and I would have expected better rooms but given it’s and old building I guess that’s too be expected. Overpriced for what it is. Staff and service were excellent so that was positive.

The room was very clean however there was a lack of attention to detail in other areas. Eg we were given the wrong room and had to explain to reception the room we had booked wasn’t the one allocated, we didn’t get our water or biscuits replaced after housekeeping had been through and we found a used face washer in the shower. Small things but for the price we paid we expected more.

the property had pet-friendly rooms. I was upgraded to a verandah room, which was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant's food was good. I didn't know about all the amenities until I was leaving - It would have been good to have been provided with a booklet with information on the property. I had a relaxing and comfortable stay.
