My two friends and I stayed at Caesars Atlantic City from June 8–10. Unfortunately, our trip ended with one of the most frightening hotel experiences we've ever had. I noticed an unexpected charge on my credit card for a room upgrade that I never requested or authorized. We were staying in Room 623 and planned to check out the next morning. Around 11:40 PM, someone identifying himself as the locksmith unlocked and opened our hotel room door with a master key before we could respond. Thankfully, the security latch was engaged, preventing him from entering. My friends and I were already in bed, undressed, and terrified. He never explained what his intention was. About 20 minutes later, three security officers aggressively banged on our door yelling, "Security!" They never explained why they were there before demanding we open the door. As three young women, we had no way of knowing whether they were legitimate employees or someone pretending to be. One officer placed his foot in the doorway, demanded my ID and reservation, and claimed we were in the wrong room. After confirming I was the correct guest, they admitted the hotel had made a mistake and simply apologized. The front desk later admitted someone had "dropped the ball" with my reservation. After checkout, another unexplained charge appeared on my credit card. Despite multiple calls and being promised a callback, no one ever followed up.i will be filing a dispute on my creditcard, and I pray this never happens to anyone.

No hot water, poor HVAC, poor maintenance, inconsistent restaurant hours, and general lack of willingness to help or make it right means I will never stay here again. Even the maintenance tech who arrived after asking for two days to address the lack hot water stated “even the presidential suite doesn’t have hot water”. To top off an already frustrating stay at over $400 for a single night in a two bed room, the guests next door played loud music at all hours of the night and kept on even after being asked to stop. What’s appalling to me is the lack of service and accountability. While the room itself was decent, the rest of what ought to make this an enjoyable stay was just non-existent in my experience. The hotel restaurants did not honor hours posted online or even when stated in person. Both Gordon Ramsays pub and the pizza joint closed early without warning. Beyond this the parking situation was just odd. At checkout I was offered a basic food and dining gift card for the lack of hot running water and the compounding issues that just never were fully resolved. Let them sort it out with my credit card company for failure to deliver basic amenities.

I normally love this place and used to only stay here. But my stay on Friday June 12th in the forum tower room 991 was a nightmare. As I stepped out of my shower I looked down and noticed something startling. Black mold was in the grout of the shower and corners. The ceiling paint was as a sloppy fresh coat that looked very new. I wondered what the chemical I smelled as I walked into the bathroom was no am pretty certain it was bleach. Fumes strong enough to sting my nose. When I went to the front desk to ask, the woman rudely told me that it was because it was smoking residue because I was in a smoking room and then she told me, sir we don’t have anything anyway so you just have to deal with it very rude. I’ve never been treated like that Caesars in my life usually they’re helpful and just it’s a wonderful experience. This experience makes me wonder if I really wanna come back again. Also, the bed was very old and used and kind of sunk in the middle and very uncomfortable compared to all the other beds I’ve stayed in. I really don’t understand how when I’m not close to moving up in a tear while the rooms would get so terrible.

So I had booked there standard room thinking it’s ceasers place! Well there standard room looked like a motel 6 room horrible! So I went downstairs to upgrade to a suite which the upgrade charge was pretty pricey but I wasn’t going to stay in that room. The room was nice but the toilet was loose, the shower took over 10 mins to get hot and would flood. The worst was that on our last day there the ac broke! Woke up sweating they didn’t have another suite so wanted to move us to a standard room at 3am on our last night. Oh and they failed to mention you have to request for room service to clean the room. Just an over all not good experience. Definitely will not be going back to Atlantic City.

Enjoyed our stay a lot. We’ve stayed in AC about 6 different casinos and this is the cleanest hotel of all of them, with Hard Rock being second. (We have not stayed in Oceans) yet.
