Check in was absurd. After we waited in line and got to the desk it took them 45 minutes to find us the proper room on our reservation. The employee had to talk to the manager 5 times. Then to add insult to injury we received a parking ticket as we were in the loading zone too long because of them!!! $35 pounds. So now I get to call. Hotel was fine. Nothing special nothing terrible. When I asked about the car sitting in the loading zone because of the delay they said no problem.

Convenient for T2&3. Bathroom had issues with blocked sink and running toilet, lights all weren’t working. Comfy bed. For the cost and other available options, I would recommend using another hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed this hotel location!! Friendly staff, comfortable bed and amenities, and delicious Italian food in the restaurant “Filini’s. Some of the best pizza we’ve ever had and a beautiful morning breakfast. We already booked our last night here again for our departing flight.

Had to use the self check in kiosk because there was a long line at the desk. The room was adequate, but not overly clean. Bathroom mirror was dirty and the floor/baseboards around the edges of the room were very dusty. Thankful to have air conditioning.

Hi, a real hit and miss visit. The good points were the hotel was spotlessly clean, the family room great with full size bunks for the kids and the kids enjoyed the pool. The steam and sauna were nice and hot (not always) and you could watch the kids in the pool from the sauna, great after a long drive. The food at the restaurant (Italian) was nice and the lady who served us was great! The less good, the man on reception in the morning was rude and useless! We needed to get some things printed out and he gave us an email address to send them to; I explained it was visa info and we needed them by our transfer time at 7.20. At 7.10 I came down and asked to collect the printouts and he said it was the end of his shift, when I pushed him he said “oh that email address doesn’t go anywhere anyway”?! He’d deliberately just lied. We witnessed the same terrible member of staff being rude to a German couple who asked about posting a postcard; and another asking about the pool. The entrance to the pool is through the gym and £5 extra per person to access, seems stingey for a £150 per night stay. Pool had that thick water where it doesn’t feel massively clean and not great visibility. Worst of it was when booking I asked if the hotel could cater for my coeliac son and was assured they could and there was a gf section at breakfast. This was untrue, not only was there no gluten free section, but the buffet had tongs used for multiple things such that he couldn’t safely eat anything!

Good airport hotel. Issue is that in the morning, Hotel Hoppa doesn’t stop at this hotel. However, there are others options to get to terminals.

Overall was an okay experience. The first room they gave us had clearly not been cleaned. Staff were helpful and we got another room that was much better. Was really busy on reception so had to wait to get the room changed… for a tired traveller this was not what I wanted. Disappointed that we had to pay extra for swimming, and had to return to room for payment because they wouldn’t charge it to the room. After a long walk back to the room and a long walk to the pool, we finally had a nice refreshing swim. The facility was nice and had a sauna too. Breakfast was good. The advert was misleading as we found out the shuttle to the airport is also not included and very expensive. This stay meant that I spend a lot more money than I had intended.

There were lots of guests and it was hard to get to the staff for information about why the 2 transport ordering machines did not take my payment after multiple attempts. I finally walked to a nearby hotel to find out that one can cross the street to get on a bus heading towards Heathrow airport, which is only a mile away. Such information should be printed to give guests an option when nothing works.

The Property looks like it was under reno when we arrived so take my review for that. The room was fine, dated but hopefully in the plans for the renovation. They are doing fire alarm tests every monday. Hopefully they tell you when you go cause we were not told; it freaked us out / annoyed us. The bar is understaffed so expect to wait 30 min for service of any kind. The pricing is why we stayed we were at the end of 3 months in europe so we wanted to stay close to the airport to make the travel out easier. It wasn't yet what it was supposed to be so take this review with a grain of salt.
