Lobby check-in experience, need elevator (slow) bc need stairs to get to lobby. Entire hotel is dated, no lights on near front desk, filthy carpet in corridorsm low lights and could barely see. Entry door lock broken, door didn't close without pushing on. Rooms had dirty carpet stains, cleaning odor was strong in room, pillows were thin, hard as a rock. Desk light didn't work, no convenient outlets, TV remote was dirty/sticky. Bath amenities were cheap, toilet didn't flush well, mirror light bulbs out, no hot water (luke warm), area wasn't very clean. No food available after 5pm, and breakfast only (they say lunch on weekends?) dining area was dated and dirty, not upscale at all. Hotel needs a total renovation and better cleaning by staff, and customer service. I asked for a late checkout but they said they were full. I walked around and the hotel looked dead from check-in at night to morning. It's just poor management so they don't have to clean all the rooms (end loaded guests all in same area). Manager at front desk tried to apologize for all the issues and took $50 resort fee off. The Pros: clean pool, nice balcony view, bathroom has 4-fixtures. Overall, I would give a (1 out of 5) rating and that's being generous. This should be a 6.0 - 7.0 rating on Hotels.com. The entire hotel went downhill since I was there 2 yrs ago and I wouldn't go back until major improvements from physical condition, housekeeping, and operations.

Location is very local very walkable to the marina, duval, and sunset pier. Yes you can park your car on the property yourself for a daily fee . But your choice. Atmosphere is pleasant and decently modern for Key West. Rooms are decently sized and beds were 2 queen size. Me personally I’m not fond of carpets due to they do hold a lot of dirt dust and I’m sure other stuff. Carpet is worn out to an extent but not super bad. Bathroom was a nice size with shower and separate soaking tub. Value for the 2 days on Friday and Saturday was medium but considering the fees tacked on with parking it’s a swinging scale but not too bad. Noise level was very decent except for those cockadoodling roosters. Service was good, the 2nd night our air conditioner when we got back around 11pm was at not functioning properly, was at 77 degrees when we had put it at 69. Went down to front desk and the gentleman at desk was able to help and track the problem and correct it right away. I went down to front desk and had 2 more delivers to the room. I went to check out the pool, the 2 pools are not huge but mainly just to go in and chill while you drink and have great conversations. We all enjoyed the stay , can honestly say it’s definitely not a bad choice at all.

Great Location!

Hotel was beautiful and location was wonderful. Easy access to all sights and bars. The pools, especially the serenity pool were relaxing. Spacious rooms with balconies and soaker tubs. Loved the room card bracket, wish they did that everywhere!

This is barely a “resort”. Location is great; tricks you. Staff is teenagers who don’t understand customer service. Room was not ready when we arrived No apology. Just not ready. Sit and wait…in a tiny lobby. The kid who is the “Conch”cierge was fantastic. The towels are like sandpaper. The elevator requires a “Fonzie” move to push the door after hitting the button. But….until you know that, you just wait. Wanted to watch the Workd Cup final, but this motel doesn’t have Fox network (or ABC, for that matter). When I called to ask what the deal was, they were unapologetic and told me to watch Telemundo. I called in the morning at 7:30 to ask for more coffee pods. All they had was decaf. Again…no apologies; just that’s it.

Our room was fabulous, the staff was excellent, very helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly, great location!!

We only went near the pool to order drinks and food to go at the pool bar, but were assessed close to $60 a day for a resort fee. Some $180. A bit much for not using any of the amenities. The $44 a night to park my car brought the total to over $300 for the two. Things to think about next time I’m choosing where to stay in Key West. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel and staff were great.

Beautiful

Loved this hotel! It was in a great location and such a beautiful place. Only criticism was the walls seemed very thin as you could hear the neighbours and the pool entertainment wasn’t the best!
