Awful experience – do not recommend. Our two-night stay was incredibly disappointing, especially for what we paid. When we first checked in, our room smelt like a public urinal. The smell was absolutely revolting and made the room almost unbearable to stay in. Staff did arrange for a plumber to inspect it, but the issue couldn’t be fixed, and because the hotel was fully booked we were told there was nothing more they could do that night. We had no choice but to spend our first night in a room that smelt like urine. The following day we were moved to another room, which we appreciated, but then discovered there was no proper hot water. The shower was only ever lukewarm. We tried showering at different times of the day, more than eight hours apart, and the water was even colder. This is Queenstown in winter, where temperatures are below freezing. Having a hot shower isn’t a luxury—it’s a basic expectation after being outside in alpine conditions. Instead, we spent our stay dealing with one problem after another. While the staff were polite, the overall experience was unacceptable. Two major room issues in a two-night stay completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable holiday. For the price we paid, we expected a clean, functional room with basic amenities. We left feeling extremely disappointed and believe a refund or meaningful compensation would have been appropriate. They have not replied to an email outlining the above, appalling customer service.

The accommodation exceeded my expectations, very clean and tidy. .Carparking was plentiful and the reception was very welcoming and informative.

Clean room , friendly staff

Unit is a ten minute walk to town centre. Beds were comfortable. Had a fridge, kettle, toaster, and hotplates. Was perfect for our three might stay for three people.

The location is excellent - far enough out of downtown so it's quiet at night, while still being easily walkable. The building is a bit dated, however the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I loved the jetted bathtub. The staff was friendly and check in/out was easy although it did close at 6pm. My only (very minor) complaint was that the door to my room had a gap underneath that let a lot of hallway light in at night. I put a bath towel down to block it.

Loved that they had a washer and dryer and drying racks for guests to use. Not too far to walk to central town area.
