Overall, our stay had both positive and disappointing moments. The reception team was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We also sincerely thank the staff who genuinely cared about guests and provided excellent service.
Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. Some employees ignored guests or only became friendly after receiving tips, making it feel as though better service depended on tipping.
Breakfast is buffet-style. The Peruvian and French restaurants were excellent and the highlights of our stay. The Japanese and Italian restaurants were disappointing. Wonder Pool was the weakest dining experience, with poor food, slow service, and staff who ignored us even after we greeted them.
The spa was excellent and well worth paying for, although access to the sauna and pool was limited.
We also did not appreciate being repeatedly pressured to attend a sales presentation after check-in despite politely declining.
During our stay, the beach was covered with sargassum, making the water brown and unsuitable for swimming.
Noise was another major issue. Events near Building 2 continued late into the evening, and several intoxicated guests shouted and talked loudly in the hallways around 3–4 a.m., repeatedly waking other guests. Better enforcement of quiet hours would greatly improve the guest experience.
This resort has great potential, but inconsistent service, sales pressure, noise, and beach conditions prevented us from fully enjoying our vacation.
