Unterdurchschnittlich The amount it costs for this room which is the size of a large walk in closet was not worth it. Carpet was old frayed and a layer of previous persons sand still present . The walls were dirty - tv remote dirty- throw pillow on bed appeared to have some sort of sticky residue on it. Two suitcases cannot be accessed at same time- you have to wait your turn to get what you need to then open other. Bathroom wall has plaster falling by toilet. The one Door key is very old and door can be opened with butter knife if needed. Will not be going back and would not recommend

Fantastisch We loved the hotel amenities, friendly staff, great food and awesome location. We thought we booked the main property but got the gothic building which we actually really liked … great path to Adirondack chairs on the hill overlooking the water. The room was very small room 404 which was fine… my only note is the crazy light fixture over the bed. You literally could not sit on the bed without hitting your head and it was HUGE for such a tiny room. That said I would highly recommend the hotel for all the other reason stated. In the end, that crazy light provided us a lot of laughs. We’ll be back, hope the light will be gone! lol

Unterdurchschnittlich Do not stay here. Honestly, it’s cute and aesthetic, but not worth the price at all. I’d just go for a drink or sit at the Surf. There are way better places to stay. Reasons:
- the staff (most, not all) were insanely rude
- the floor of our room was sandy as were the sheets so was it even cleaned!?
- no lock on the lobby bathroom door
- not accommodating with early check in, we were told we’d receive a text when the room was ready we just so happened to walk by at 2:30pm and our room was ready early & they hadn’t told us
- there was no hand soap in our bathroom and the other bottles were almost empty
Just overall the hospitality wasn’t there.

Fantastisch Found a leftover Michelob Ultra bottle cap on the floor and for $900/night I would expect less sand on the floor and better wall patching, but other than that it was spectacular. Views and staff were excellent.

Grossartig Really enjoyed the stay but had two comments. 1) the kitchen exhaust fan ran right outside our window from mid morning until about 10 pm every night. Had to run music pretty loud to drown it out. Could hear the water lapping on the beach when it was not running. Would not have minded if they were creating incredible food but unfortunately 2) the one lunch we ate on site was just ok. Seems like the oil they were using for the fries was old. You know that bad taste I am talking about.

Fantastisch Staff was friendly and accommodating. The property is clean, quiet and conveniently located. Pack lightly the stairs will make you wish you did.

Unterdurchschnittlich This stay fell far short of what we expected, especially for a “luxury” property. We’d had several conversations with staff before arrival to let them know we were celebrating a special occasion, but on arrival, management had no record of any of it.
The beach was dirty, and staff were unhelpful throughout — we couldn’t even get a second room key. When our ferry was cancelled and we needed to leave early, the front desk offered no accommodation and no alternatives. Advertised amenities were nowhere to be found; we never located a pool on the property.
For the price, this doesn’t come close to a luxury experience. We won’t be returning.

Grossartig The location is excellent & extremely convenient. The beach is right there, restaurant and beach bar are great. Staff was very kind. But for the price… the room was SO small (ocean view queen), it just about fit the bed. The shower had 0 water pressure, the sink isn’t in the bathroom it’s shoved into the already small bedroom. You can probably find more bang for your buck somewhere else on the island.
