I contacted the property more than a month before my stay to ask whether the construction was near the cabins, and was told there would be no construction during the summer. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was active construction with piles of dirt and construction vehicles visible, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere the property is designed to provide. We were assigned one of the rear cabins, which was closest to the construction area. Instead of the unobstructed waterfall view shown in many of the property’s photos, our windows looked toward construction equipment and dirt piles. The location of this cabin significantly affected our overall experience. The cabin also had no thermostat or temperature control. Like several other reviewers have mentioned, it was extremely hot when we arrived. We had to open the windows to cool it down, which allowed many flies to enter. I’m giving this property two stars because I believe our stay could have been much more enjoyable under different circumstances, such as after the construction is fully completed or in a cabin with a better location. At the time of our visit, the experience did not match our expectations.

We absolutely loved this property! The view and location is stunning and the cottage is beautiful and clean. This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Iceland - highly recommend! The only thing that went wrong was check in. We didn’t receive our cottage number, instructions on how to get into the property or receive a door code. But we called the hosts and they were so helpful and got it taken care of promptly. 10/10!

Loved our stay here. Cabin was cozy, modern features and included extras like coffee, Bluetooth speaker, super comfortable beds and bedding. Got to see the northern lights, and great location/home base for touring around the south coast of Iceland.

everything was absolutely delightful. 100% will come back again and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Great space, amazing view, and perfectly located near many sites. They even had a few games, TV connected to Netflix, and Nespresso capsules. Highly recommended.

Stayed in one of the cottages and it was awesome. The view was phenomenal, really unbelievably beautiful. The mountain with a few waterfalls. It was very clean and modern. If you include breakfast they deliver it to your cottage. Was sorry we were only staying a single night.
